FEATURES
The SpeedDome Ultra Drone II is a fixed
camera housed inside the SpeedDome Ultra
chassis. This 330 line color camera – with its
1/3-inch, manual vari-focal, 3.5 mm to 8.0 mm
lens – provides a value driven alternative for
users who require fixed camera coverage, but
like the appearance and deterrence of a full-
featured dome camera.
The 370° pan and 90° tilt mechanism enables
the internal camera and the eyeball to be
manually positioned in any orientation. The
friction bearings hold the camera in that fixed
position, pointing at the desired camera view.
The manual lens controls allow for zoom, iris
and focus adjustments as necessary. A dummy
model is also available without a camera/lens
assembly.
For maximum flexibility, the drone can
accommodate both types of SpeedDome Ultra
mounting bases – the standard mounting base
and the I/O board mounting base. This means
that the drones are interchangeable with
SpeedDome Ultra without the need for any
re-cabling. The interchangeability allows
customers to install the drones at a facility and
then replace them with programmable domes
as budgets and/or needs change. In addition,
customers can interchange the drones and the
domes as surveillance requirements change.
