Storage Applications
The American Dynamics iSCSI and Fiber
RAID Storage solutions are designed for
high-performance video recording devices
such as American Dynamics VideoEdge
network video recorders (NVR) targeted
for video surveillance applications. They
are secure and highly scalable storage
applications that provide SAN storage for
virtually any network and application.
Congureable for Each
Unique Application
The rackmount design supports a variety
of configurations and capacities. Factory
configured to support RAID5 storage arrays
the intuitive web based GUI allows the
user to reconfigure the storage array to any
desired format. The 1GBs iSCSI interfaces
and 8Gbps fiber interfaces have been
uniquely designed to utilize the same 3U
chassis. The chassis come standard with
redundant power supplies and fans as well as
with the ability to support sixteen lockable,
hot-swappable drives. A battery backup
module comes standard to provide additional
redundancy and improved reliability. For
a scalable solution, users have the ability
to daisy-chain up to six expansion shelves
to support up to 672 TB of raw storage.
Simplied Management
& Support
Simplicity and ease of use are absolutely
critical for users with limited budgets and IT
resources. The AD storage GUI browser-based
interface enables remote assignment and
management of network settings, iSCSI and
fiber parameters as well as RAID volumes.
Congurations
The factory default configurations for the
18TB, 36TB, and 48TB are a single RAID5
RAID array. The 90TB unit is configured
with two RAID5 arrays for improved
reliability and performance. Users
can reconfigure these preconfigured
solutions via the GUI web browser.
