The second generation American Dynamics iSCSI and Fibre RAID Storage solutions are designed for high-performance recording devices such as the VideoEdge Network Video Recorder. They are secure and highly scalable storage solutions that provide SAN storage for virtually any network and application.

The new tower models are designed for projects requiring a smaller amount of iSCSI storage. They are available in three different capacities and all come standard with an LCD display plus eight hot-swappable drives that can be locked to provide additional security.

The new rack mount models are available in a variety of configurations and capacities. There are iSCSI RAID, 4Gb Fibre RAID, and Expansion models which have been uniquely designed to utilize the same 3U chassis. These storage solutions come standard with redundant power supplies and fans, and nearly every component is hot-swappable, including sixteen lockable drives. An optional battery backup module is also available for the iSCSI and Fibre RAID units.

The integrated Storage Manager browser-based interface enables remote assignment and management of network settings, Fibre or iSCSI parameters, and RAID volumes. It supports snapshots, SNMP, enclosure health monitoring, online capacity expansion within each chassis, drive diagnostics, LUN masking, CHAP authentication for iSCSI, plus ability for serial console management. The storage systems are easy to install and simple to administer.

All of our second generation American Dynamics tower and rack mount models utilize the latest hardware RAID controller technology and offer a full set of RAID configurations. The common GUI on all models ensures a fast learning curve on our storage solutions. In addition to the web interface, all models come standard with an LCD module that provides valuable status information and offers basic administrative functions directly at the unit for additional convenience

For a scalable solution, you have the ability to daisy-chain up to four 3U Expansion RAID Storage units to the rack mount iSCSI RAID or Fibre RAID to support up to 160

of raw storage. The Storage Manager will manage

TB all 80 drives from a single IP address, and supports as many as 80 disk groups and 1,024 virtual disks.
