1. Plug in you r Echo Show 5
Plug the power a daptor into your Ec ho Show 5 and then in to an electric al socket. You mus t use
the items inclu ded in the origi nal Echo Show 5 pac kage for optima l performan ce. In about a
minute, the di splay will tur n on and Alexa will g reet you.

Follow the on- screen inst ructions to se t up your Echo Show 5 . During setup , you will connec t
your Echo Show 5 to th e Internet so yo u can access Am azon service s. Please make s ure you have

• To turn your E cho Show 5 on and off, pre ss and hold the Mi c/Camera but ton.
• A short pres s of the Mic/Came ra button wil l turn off the micro phones and cam era, and the
LED will turn r ed.
• You can use your Echo S how 5 via voice comm ands or the touchs creen.

To access Setti ngs, swipe do wn from the top of th e screen or say, “Ale xa, show Set tings”.

Download the l atest versi on of the Alexa app f rom an app store . The app helps yo u get more out
of your Echo Show 5 . It’s where you s ee an overvie w of your reques ts and manage yo ur contacts ,
lists, new s, music and se ttings.
