Maintaining Your Amazon Dash: Do not drop,
throw, disassemble, crush, bend, puncture, or paint
your Amazon D ash. If your Am azon Dash does ge t
wet, use rubb er gloves to remove t he batteries
and wait for th e Amazon Dash to d ry completely
before re-i nserting th e batteries. D o not attempt
to dry your Am azon Dash with a n external he at
source, such a s a microwave oven o r hair dryer.
Clean the Ama zon Dash with a so ft cloth and avoid
using liquid s or harsh chemi cals that may da mage
the Amazon D ash; be careful n ot to wipe it with
anything a brasive. Store yo ur Amazon Das h in cool
dust free are as out of direct su nlight.

Batteries: This product contains alkaline
batteries . Only use new 1. 5V alkaline o r 1.2V NiMH
rechargeab le AA size bat teries. Never m ix old and
new batteri es. Keep all of the b atteries out of t he
reach of infan ts and young chi ldren. Do not op en,
disassemb le, puncture , cut, crush, be nd or shred the
batteries . Do not expose to w ater or other liq uids,
fire or explos ion hazard. Do n ot attempt to sho rt
circuit the ba ttery by allowi ng metal objec ts to
touch the bat tery termin als on the Amaz on Dash,
which could ca use the termin als to become hot .
Remove all bat teries if they ar e worn out or before
storing your A mazon Dash for a n extended pe riod
of time. Disp ose of all batter ies in accordanc e

with applic able laws and reg ulations and n ever
dispose of bat teries by throw ing them into a fire .
Avoid droppin g the Amazon Da sh or the batter ies.
If dropped an d you suspect da mage, take steps to
prevent any in gestion or dire ct contact of flu ids and
any other mate rials from the b atteries wit h skin
or clothes an d obtain inspec tion and repa ir at an
appropriate service outlet.

Recycling Amazon Dash: In some areas, th e
disposal of ce rtain elec tronic devices i s regulated.
Make sure you dis pose of or recyc le the Amazon
Dash in accord ance with your loc al laws and
regulations. For information about recycling the

Radio Frequency Exposure: The output power of
the radio tec hnology used i n the Amazon Das h is
below the rad io frequency e xposure limit s set by the
FCC. Never theless, it is a dvised to use th e wireless
equipment in such a manner that the potential
for human cont act during no rmal operat ion is
minimized.

Radio Frequency Information: This Amazon Dash
complies wi th part 15 of the FC C Rules. Opera tion is
subject to th e following two con ditions: (1) thi s
Amazon Das h may not cause har mful interfe rence,
and (2) this Ama zon Dash must acc ept any
interference received, including interference that
may cause und esired opera tion.

Note: This e quipment has b een tested and fou nd
to comply with t he limits for a Cla ss B digital
device, purs uant to part 15 of t he FCC Rules.
These limi ts are designe d to provide reaso nable
protection a gainst harmf ul interferen ce in a
residential installation. This equipment generates,

uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and,
if not install ed and used in acco rdance with the
instruct ions, may caus e harmful inter ference
to radio comm unications. H owever, there is no
guarantee t hat interfere nce will not occur i n a
particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmf ul interfere nce to radio or tele vision
reception , which can be dete rmined by turn ing

battery co mpartmen t of the Amazon Da sh.

Other Safety Considerations: Small parts
contained i n your Amazon Da sh, such as the
batteries , may present a ch oking hazard to s mall
children.

One Year Limited Warranty: This Warra nty for the
Amazon Das h is provided by Am azon Fulfillme nt
Service s, Inc., 410 Terr y Ave. North, S eattle, WA
98109, Uni ted States. The p rovider of this wa rranty
is sometime s referred to here in as “we.” We warr ant
the Amazon D ash against defe cts in materi als and
workmans hip under ordin ary consume r use for one
year from the d ate of original ret ail purchase. D uring
this warra nty period, i f a defect arises i n the Amazon
Dash, and you fo llow the instru ctions for retu rning

the Amazon D ash, we will, at ou r option, to the
extent per mitted by law, eit her (i) repair the A mazon
Dash using eit her new or refur bished part s, (ii)
replace the A mazon Dash wit h a new or refurbis hed
Amazon Das h that is equival ent to the Amazo n Dash
to be replaced , or (iii) refund to yo u all or part of
the purchas e amount paid (if a ny) for the Amazon
Dash. This l imited warra nty applies , to the extent
permitte d by law, to any repair, repl acement par t or
replaceme nt Amazon Das h for the remaind er of the
original warranty period or for one year, whichever
period is lon ger. All replaced p arts and Ama zon Dash
devices for wh ich a refund is give n or a replaceme nt
is provided sh all become our p roperty. Th is limited
warranty applies only to hardware components of
the Amazon D ash that are not su bject to accide nt,
misuse, neg lect, fire or oth er external c auses,
alteration s, repair, or comme rcial use.

Download and i nstall the latest
version of the A mazon app for
iPhone or Android.

Note: Durin g setup, Dash will nee d to
connect to t he internet. Pleas e have
your Wi-Fi password available.

To set up Dash:

1. Open the Amazon

2. Tap the menu button a nd
go to Your Account

3. Under “ Dash devices”, tap “Set
up a new device”

4. Follow onscre en setup
instructions

Once success fully activated and
connected to your Wi-Fi network,
Dash will be read y for use!

USING VOICE

Hold down the button, say on e
item, then relea se the button.
Repeat for each ite m.

USING BARCODES

Hold the Dash a few in ches away
from the product barcode
and press the button until
Dash beeps. R epeat for each item.

COMPLETE YOUR SHOPPING

Items that you sc an or say with
your Dash are auto matically added
to your Cart . Your items will be
ready for chec kout next time you
go to the Amazon a pp or website.
