Installing Custom Wood Door Panel
A dishwasher door panel can be customized to match wood cabinets. A panel thicker than 1/4” requires routing all four edges to 1/4”.
1. Cut wood door panel to the dimensions in recommended that a cabinetmaker cut the customized panel because of the precise dimensions needed. Make sure wood grain direction matches cabinet wood grain.
2. File or sand edges of wood panel until smooth. To protect wood panel from humidity, apply a moisture-resistant sealer on sides and edges.
