Dispenser Screen is default screen, unless dispenser is locked or timer feature is in alarm mode.

Allows you to view a variety of interactive screens used to control functions of dispenser. Also allows you to return to Dispenser Screen when finished using other screens.

What if I see the Power Outage Screen?
Your dispenser control is equipped with a Power Outage Indicator screen that appears when unit has lost power. The memory within control panel will hold all programmed items (time, date, formatting, lock/ unlock,etc.) for up to 3 days.
When the Power Outage Screen appears, most control functions are not available. To reset display, press keypads as indicated by arrows on screen.

What do the solid arrows in the chart mean?
The solid arrows represent the flow of the screens accessible by pressing the MENU key. For example, if starting from the Dispenser Screen (A), pressing the MENU key once will take you to the Lock, Sound, and Light Screen (B). If the MENU key is pressed again, the Timer Screen (C) will appear.

Why does the LCD display change to the Dispenser Screen automatically?
The Dispenser Screen is designed to be the primary default screen. If you are in any of the screens shown above, and no keypads are selected for 30 seconds, then the screen will automatically revert back to the Dispenser Screen.

What are the screens in the center of the chart?
The screens in the center cannot be accessed by simply pressing the MENU key.
Screen G is referred to as the Format Screen. To access, press and hold the MENU key for 3 seconds.
Screen H is the Message Screen. To access, press MESSAGE key on the right side of the LCD display.

Dispenser Lock
You may lock the controls of your dispenser to prevent ice or water from being dispensed. Most control functions remain available while the dispenser is locked.
To activate lock:
Press LOCK keypad. Text under icon will change to LOCKED. The
DISPENSER LOCKED Screen will be displayed after approximately
30 seconds.
To deactivate lock:
Press left and right keypads simultaneously.
OR
Proceed to Lock/Sound/Light Screen.
Press LOCK keypad. Text under icon will change to UNLOCKED.

Can I dispense ice and water at the same time?
You may dispense ice and water simultaneously by following the steps below:
1. Select ice mode.
2. Align container under Front Fill button using water droplet icon as a guide.
3. Press container against dispenser pad to dispense ice, while pressing Front Fill button to dispense water.
What is the Automatic Lock Out feature?
The Automatic Lock Out feature shuts down power to the water and ice dispenser when either dispenser has run continuously for approximately 3 minutes. If this mode goes into effect, the Dispenser Screen will default to DISPENSER LOCKED screen.
See Dispenser Lock section for how to deactivate dispenser lock.
Selecting Sound Setting
The option you select will determine what sound you hear when pressing a keypad.

How to Use Your Dispenser Features

Timer Screen
Timer screen may be reached from Dispenser Screen by pressing the MENU key twice. The Timer is an independent timer that counts down and sounds an alarm. Each new time setting becomes the default setting. When Timer counts down fully, an alarm will sound three times every 5 seconds.
The minimum setting is one minute and maximum is 9 hours and 50 minutes.

Audio Volume/LCD Contrast Screen
Audio Volume/LCD contrast screen may be reached from Dispenser Screen by pressing the MENU key three times.
Adjusting Volume
The SET AUDIO VOLUME screen allows the volume to be adjusted for all audio items (i.e. alarms,

tones,voice confirmation, Message Center).
Setting Volume Level

Adjusting LCD Contrast
The SET LCD CONTRAST screen allows user to adjust clarity of display graphics.

Filter Status screen may be reached from Dispenser Screen by pressing MENU key four times. Water and air filter information is shown on separate screens.
About The Water Filter Status Feature
The water filter should be replaced after 6 months or after 500 gallons of water is used. The control will continuously monitor time and water usage and report remaining capacity in the form of a percent on the Water Filter Status screen.
When it is time to order a water filter, TIME TO ORDER WATER FILTER will be displayed on the Dispenser Screen along with contact information for ordering.
Once the water filter is ordered, to remove TIME TO ORDER FILTER message:

Air Filter Feature
Made out of polyester sponge embedded with active carbon, the air filter is designed to help control odors that occur inside the refrigerator section.
Installing and Removing Air Filter
To install air filter, remove Crisper drawer per instructions in Owner’s Manual. Locate cold air return in bottom, left-hand corner of cabinet, and press air filter into recess in cold air return.
To remove air filter, remove Crisper drawer per instructions in Owner’s Manual. Locate cold air return and pull filter straight out.

Set Time and Date Screen
This screen allows for the month, day, year, hour, minute, and second to be adjusted, as well as the AM and PM status. This screen may be reached from the Dispenser Screen by pressing the MENU key five times.

Format Screen

It offers options to change time, date, and language formats. It also allows you to turn off the LCD display light.

Activating/Deactivating Display Light
The LCD display light was designed to easily read the controls in low ambient light. The display light drops in power when the automatic light sensor detects lower light levels in the room.

Message Screen
The Message Center is capable of recording up to 99 messages, with a total recording limit of 5 ½ minutes. The Message Indicator Light indicates three types of messages: no messages (no light is lit), saved messages (a steady, red light is lit), and new messages (red light is blinking).

Playing and Erasing Messages
Press MESSAGE key to play messages. The Message Center will always play new messages first. If there are a series of new messages, then the Message Center will play the first new message.
Pressing NEXT keypad will allow you to cycle through a series of messages, or skip ahead to a certain message number.
