The Wireless St aff Station(s) shall be Alpha Communications®
model WPS501, or approved equal shall include an integral "CALL­PLACED" LED indicat or, a "CALL" butt on, and a "CANCEL" button. A
call will be registered at the assoc iated master st ation(s), and
optional wired corridor light(s). The station's 'CALL PLACED' LED will
light if the CALL switch is pushed. All electronic components
needed for t hese features and funct ions shall be mounted on a
printed circuit board and all station components shall be mounted
on a rugged ABS (White) plastic fac eplate. T he station shall be
mounted into a model IH527 surface back box with its associated

WSM501 wireless support module and RY024AM relay module.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® WSS510 Wireless St aff Stat ion
incorporates push button operation of c all and canc el func tions. A
call is registered at the Master Station(S) and on an opt ional wired
corridor light and/or corridor zone light (if installed) when the call
switc h with integral "CALL PLACED" LED is pushed. The "CALL
PLACED" LED is also illuminated. Calls are cancelled simply
by depressing the "CANCEL" button mounted on a rugged ABS
plastic fac eplate. The "CALL PLACED" LED will also be extinguished.

The WSS510 is used primarily with the WSM501 Wireless Support
Module, and RY024AM Relay Module, on the AlphaEcall™ 200 series
wireless emergency- call system(s), but can be used and is
backwards c ompatible with some older systems as well, as well as
the AlphaEntry™ series (v5.5 or later).
