The Wireless Single Visual Patient Stat ion(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® model WPS501, or approved equal and shall
include a lighted 'CALL-PLACED' indicator, a 'CANCEL' button, and a
jack for t he required model SF301/8 (single) call-c ords or
model SF302 (double) call-c ords (or other specialty type cords as
required). A c all will be registered at t he associated master
stat ion(s), and opt ional wired c orridor light(s). The station's 'CALL
PLACED' LED will light if the call switch is pushed or if the call-cord
is removed from its jack. All elect ronic c omponents needed for
these feat ures and functions shall be mounted on a printed circuit
board and all station components shall be mounted on a
rugged ABS (White) plastic faceplate. The stat ion shall
be mounted into a model IH527 surface bac k box with its
assoc iated WSM501 wireless support module and RY024AM relay
module.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® WPS501 Wireless Single Visual Patient
Stat ion includes a jac k for the insertion of a required model

SF301/8 (single) or SF302 (dual) call cord set (or equivalent). A

call is registered at the assoc iated master stat ion(s) (and optional
corridor lights if installed) when t he c all cord button is used, or if
the c all cord is acc identally removed from the jack. The stat ion
includes a lighted 'CALL-PLACED' indicator when a c all is placed
and a 'CANCEL' button, mounted on a rugged ABS white plastic
fac eplate.

The WPS501 is used primarily with the WSM501 Wireless Support
Module, and RY024AM Relay Module, on the AlphaEcall™ 200 series
wireless emergency- call system(s), but can be used and is
backwards c ompatible with some older systems as well, as well as
the AlphaEntry™ series (v5.5 or later).
