Specifications

The alphabetical directory unit(s) shall be
Alpha Communications® VIP™ Series Model

VIP811D for 100-200 names, or approved

equal, and shall be mounted right on t he
surface of t he wall. Contrac tor shall fast en
the directory unit(s) securely to the wall. No
back box shall be required. Directory unit(s)
shall be made of heavy-gauge brushed
stainless st eel (or polished suffix 'BR), with
the paper listing protec ted by a thick sheet
of c lear Polycarbonate. Paper listing insertion
and maintenance shall require the use of a
'Star' head type screwdriver tool. Contractor
shall provide one (1) screwdriver tool
(per building), to t he building management
(or superintendent), for future directory
name maintenanc e.

VIP811D VIP™ Series Stainless Steel and Brass Directory Units

The Alpha Communications® model VIP811D VIP™ Series Stainless Steel (Vandal-
Resistant) direct ory units are designed t o mount right on the surface of the wall.

Made of heavy-gauge brushed stainless steel (or polished brass), the VIP™ directories
holds a single sheet of 8.5" x 11.0" paper, protected by a thick polycarbonate
window. Simply type the listing of resident names and numbers onto the sheet of paper,
and you have a directory designed to easily display 100-200 names. For installations
requiring more names, simply mount additional direct ory units side-by-side (or order
cust om-size directory units).

Installation is quick, easy, attractive and requires no back box. Paper insertion and
maintenance requires t he use of a 'Star' type sc rewdriver tip. The use of 'Star' head
screws makes it nearly impossible to open the direc tory without t he use of the special
tool (included with each direc tory unit).

The VIP™ direc tory units can be used in conjunction with lobby entry intercom panels,
or as a stand-alone direc tory installation.
