On this style of
illuminated (lighted)
buttons, connect the
UPPER screwson the
bulb assemblies to the
8-16VAC power from
the system transformer.
The LOWER screws are
the actual button contact
screws. DO NOT wire
the UPPER screws

to the LOWER screws!

PLEASE NOTE: There are two (2) styles of illuminated (lighted) buttons used
on the S.T.R.™ series lobby entry panel stations. Surface style panels usually
have small bulb modules that actually snap onto the back of the call buttons, as
shown in Fig. 1. Flush panels and larger capacity panels usually have larger
(fuse style) bulbs actually mounted onto the flush back box, as shown in Fig. 2.
Wire your panel as per one of the configurations shown above!

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES and GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. All low voltage wiring is #22 AWG, unless otherwise noted.

2. See actual system wiring diagram for balance of system wiring information.

3. Observe all local and national electrical codes.

4. All terminals connections shown may not be in the order that they appear on the equipment.
