The 5 button AlphaStatus™ room stat ion(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® model RSS405 or approved equivalent. T he 5
button AlphaStatus™ room station(s) shall consist of four (4)
locking push-button switc hes and a momentary c all push­button signaling switc h.

The colors assoc iated with t hese switc hes shall be the same as
the four (4) colors used on the associated LI380 or LI380LED dome
lights for the room stat us system. The designated c olors are
"RED", "WHITE", "YELLOW", and "GREEN". Depressing any of
the buttons shall cause t he switch center to c hange from Black to
Red color, as well as the corresponding dome light. Power to
operate t he RSS405 AlphaStatus™ room station(s) and assoc iated
dome light(s), and optional master station(s) shall come from the

PSR-24/4 cent ral power supply unit(s). Reliable components shall

be mounted on an att ractive polyc arbonate White 2-gang plastic
fac eplate. Screw terminal connec tors shall be provided for wire
connections.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® RSS405 provides locking push-button
registration (of 4 different c olors) of the room status t o t he LI380
or LI380LED corridor dome light(s), on an AlphaStat us™ room
stat us system. When an optional master station is used,
the stat us registered by each RSS405 will also be displayed at t he
master station(s) and other indicators based on t he system
configuration. A convenient momentary c all button can be used t o
send an audible signal alert t o t he master station(s) whenever
needed.

Emergency signalling from eac h room locat ion can be ac complished
with the addition of an optional model SF119/2A Emergency Pull
Cord stat ion (and some additional system c omponents).
