T h e AlphaRefuge™ 2400 Series system
Refuge Call Center(s) shall be Alpha
C o mm u n i c a t io n s ® RCC2512D (12­s t a t i o n ) , o r RCC2516D (16-

s t a t i o n ) , o r RCC2528D (28-station),
o r RCC2536D (36-st ation), or RCC2556D (56-
s t a t i o n ) , or RCC2576D (76-stat ion)
or RCC2592D (92-station), or approved equal.

The Refuge Call Center(s) shall be Desk Mount
type and shall be heavy-duty. T he Refuge Call
Center(s) shall be programmable t o c all out on
a t elephone line to a 911 c all center or other
emergency call locations.

These units shall be powered by a model

PWRAPC power supply (up to 36 remote call

boxes) or a model PWRAPC112 power supply
(for 37 t o 112 remote c all boxes) and the
power supply shall contain the built-in battery
back-up and charger c ircuitry required for
these devices.

T he RCC2516D shall be c apable of c onnecting
with up to (16) and the RCC2556D shall be
capable of c onnecting with up t o (56) and
t h e RCC2592D shall be c apable
of c onnecting with up to (112) of the RCB2400
series Refuge Call Boxes, etc .

The Refuge Call Center(s), shall be IBC, NFPA
and ADAAG c ode compliant, and shall also be
Elevator Code c ompliant.

Contract or shall observe all loc al and national
elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® RCC2512D (12-station),

RCC2516D (16-st ation), RCC2528D (28- stat ion), RCC2536D (36-

s t a t io n ) , RCC2556D (56-station), RCC2576D (76-stat ion)
o r RCC2592D (92-stat ion) Refuge Call Centers are used with the

AlphaRefuge™ 2400 Series Area of Refuge system, and are heavy-

duty Desk Mount type. They are used with the RCB2400 Series
Refuge Call Boxes.

These Refuge Call Centers are powered by connec ting t o the

central PBX c ontroller and the PWRAPC or PWRAPC112 power supply
unit.

The AlphaRefuge™ 2400 Series central equipment power supply
prov ides bac k-up batt ery and charging circuitry for the RCB2400
series remote c all boxes as well as the refuge command center.

Only one (1) PWRAPC power supply is needed per system for up t o

3 6 RCB2400 series refuge call boxes. For systems with 37 t o 112

RCB2400 series refuge c all boxes, use the PWRAPC112 power supply

in place of the PWRAPC unit.

eliminates the guesswork for emergency personnel
Built-in Telephone Line Consolidator Feature
Heavy-duty Button Switches and Black Handset with coiled
cord
Rescue personnel can pick up the Refuge Call Center
handset and talk with the Refuge Call Box(es) and any
existing emergency call

Install the Refuge Call Center in a c entral location on the first
floor (wall mount) or in an area approved by the local AHJ
(Authority Having Jurisdiction)

IBC, NFPA, ADAAG Code Compliant and Elevator Code
compliant

Built- in Battery Back-up and Charging Circuitry provided by

PWRAPC or PWRAPC112 power supply
