The AlphaRefuge™ 2100 Series system Refuge
Call Center(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions®

RCC2505CF (5-station) or RCC2510CF (10-

stat ion), or approved equal.

The Refuge Call Center(s) shall be Flush Mount
type and shall be heavy- duty steel in a powder
coated finish, with twist lock closure. The
cabinet shall be able to accept a Fireman's Lock
(not provided by Alpha Communications®). The
Refuge Call Center(s) shall contain a built- in
batt ery bac k-up and c harger circuitry and shall
be programmable to call out on a telephone line
to a 911 call c enter or ot her emergency call
locat ions. The RCC2505CF shall be capable of
connecting with up to five (5) and
the RCC2510CF shall be c apable of connec ting
with up to ten (10) of t he RCB2100 series
Refuge Call Boxes

The Refuge Call Center(s), shall be IBC, NFPA
and ADAAG code compliant, and shall also be
Elevator Code c ompliant.

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® RCC2505CF (5-station) and RCC2510CF (10-stat ion)
Refuge Call Centers are used with the AlphaRefuge™ 2100 Series Area of Refuge
system, and are Flush Mount type built into a lockable painted cabinet. T hey are
used with t he RCB2100 Series Refuge Call Boxes.

The RCC2505CF and RCC2510CF Refuge Call Centers are powered by c onnecting
to 120VAC power, with the supplied power supply t hat provides 24VDC power.

The RCC2505CF and RCC2510CF Refuge Call Centers c ome standard with a built- in
back-up batt ery and c harging c ircuitry.

Only one (1) PWR2410A power supply is needed per system, when using Refuge Call
Boxes that are "remote powered" (suffix-'R').

Rescue personnel can pick up the Refuge Call Center handset and talk with the
Refuge Call Box(es) and any existing emergency call
Refuge Call Center also includes connect ions for two (2) Sub-Master Stat ions
(model# MRPH-2300-630SM)
Install the Refuge Call Center in a c entral location on t he first floor (wall
mount) or in an area approved by the local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdict ion)
