OF291 (Flush) OF291S (Surface) Aluminum Panel

Frames

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone OF291 (flush) and OF291S
(surface) entry panel frames are made of heavy gauge extruded
aluminum, in a natural (clear) anodized finish.

Both types are used with the CM491 series vandal resistant lobby
panel modules and mini alphabetical directories.

The 19" height on the OF291 (flush) is ideal for mounting alongside
standard 19" high vertical mail boxes, if required. T he OF291S
(surface) frames are open in the bac k to allow for equipment
clearance and wiring as well, but c an surfac e mount right on the
wall without t he need for a surface back box or housing. The

OF291 (flush) frame can be used by itself, or with the matc hing
OH191 flush back box/housing.

NOTE: All mode ls are 19.00"H (483mm ). Surface models ar e 2.25"D (58mm).

OF291: 1 Gang Flush 6.25"W (159mm) (Can be used by itself

or with the OH191 1-gang flush backbox/housing)

OF291S: 1 Gang Surface 6.25"W (159mm) (Requires no

additional surfac e backbox)

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The panel frame(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone model OF291 (flush) or OF291S (surface) or approved equal. Frame(s) shall
be made of heavy gauge extruded aluminum in a natural (c lear) anodized finish. Frame(s) shall be used with the CM491 series vandal­resistant lobby entry panels. For flush mounting, c ontractor shall provide the required OH191 flush housing.

The OF291S (surfac e) frame shall be open in the bac k to allow for equipment clearance and wiring if needed.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical c odes, and contractor shall provide a model S1 special screwdriver for future syst em
maintenance.
