NH201TT-2 3-Wire Amplifier / Power Supplies
These Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ NH201TT- 2 series
amplifier/power supplies are used with the HT2001 series handset
stat ions to provide intercom amplificat ion and power to operate
the associated intercom syst em, and certain optional components
and/or acc essories, such as elect ric door opener(s) et c.
The NH201TT-2 powers from a 16VAC (30VA) low-voltage Class II
transformer.
The NH201TT-2 amplifier/power supplies are designed to easily
mount right onto the plastic speaker / microphone grille in the 'TT'
and 'TT M' series lobby entry intercom panels.
The PC boards are treated with a special c hemical finish, t o
minimize t he affect s of weather and moisture on the elect ronic
components.
Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The amplifier/power supply unit(s) shall be Alpha Communications®
/ S.T.R.™ model NH201TT-2 or equivalent. Power supply unit(s)
shall operate from a U.L. Listed transformer (model SS106 or
SS146). All wiring to power supply/amplifier shall be low-
voltage Class II wiring, installed as per all federal, state, and local
elect rical codes.
Power supply/amplifier shall be designed to mount direct ly into the
'TT' or 'TTM' series lobby entry panel stat ions. Power supply /
amplifier shall contain the system amplifier, power supply, speaker
and microphone, all in one 'snap-in' assembly. Unit shall snap onto
the panel front speaker/microphone grille.
Power supply/amplifier shall provide the intercom amplification and
signalling power for the proper system operation. Power
supply/amplifier shall be installed a safe distance from any source
of elec trical interference.

building codes.
