Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The NC506ES shall provide remote annunciation of call
activity within the Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency
Call System.

It shall funct ion independently of the TC500 master station
computer. It shall provide dry c ontact outputs which are Form-C
and capable of driving a typical 24-volt dome lamp as used in the
call systems. The NC506ES shall also allow t he use of an external,
model TAK-4202 or T AK-4208 dialer, that accept s dry c ontac t
input(s). The NC506ES shall also enable SF501ES, SF501/2ES and

SF502ES transmitters to t rigger t he external dialer.

All programming shall be non- volatile. The unit shall provide
for easy connec tion of field wiring. Ac cess to the interior of the
case shall be sec ured by a built-in tamper switc h - for easy
connection to a t hird-party alarm syst em. The NC506ES shall be
designed for indoor use only, and shall feat ure hidden cable
connections and acc ess. The current st atus of all outputs shall be
visually indicat ed on the fac e of the unit.

TekTone® has designed the Tek- CARE®500 (TC500) t o work as a
system. Its NC501ES Master Stat ion Computer has been carefully
designed and matc hed t o work with T C500 wireless and wired
peripherals. TekTone® will not warrant or support c omponents
of T C500 that are purchased separately unless the components
are add-ons to previously sold syst ems. TekTone® will also not
warrant or support a system that is a mix of TekTone® and Non­TekTone® parts, unless prior writt en permission has been
obtained. In order to t rack our syst ems and to inform fac ilities of
software upgrades, full site information (site name, address and
phone number) will be required when ordering. Site information and

NC501ES warranty number will also be required when requesting

tec hnical support.

NC506ES Remote Receiver

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone NC506ES is designed to
allow users of t he Tek-CARE®500 (TC500) Wireless Emergency Call
System to c onnec t external dome lamps and dialers to the system.
This provides for an alternate annunciation path, in addition to t he
normal T C500 screen. The NC506ES is not dependant upon the
Tek-CARE®500's master station c omputer. It features 4 separate,
dry-c ontac t outputs that can be programmed for activation by up
to 4 transmitters.

The c ase has built-in tamper det ec tion outputs for c onnection to
an external alarm system. All dry contact outputs are individually
configurable for latc hing, follower or momentary ac tivation modes.
The unit is designed for indoor use only, and cable access and
connections are hidden. The fac e of the unit feat ures a c lean
appearance with visual indication of the st atus.

The SF501ES and SF502ES transmitters c an be used with the

NC506ES to trigger an external dialer, but these momentary

transmitters do not support dome light annunciation.
