Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The supplemental power supply shall be Alpha Communicat ions® /
TekTone PK305A or approved equal and will include t he nec essary
hardware to interface with the NC351A/2 Central Equipment to
provide additional power t o support up t o 512 patient stat ions.

The PK305A supplemental power supply shall be housed in a
durable metal enclosure with provisions for plug-in field wiring
connections.

The PK305A supplemental power supply shall be UL1069 Listed.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

NC351A and NC351A/2 Central Processing Equipment

(CPE)

A major component of t he NC300II series microprocessor based
audio-visual nurse-call system, the Alpha Communicat ions®

NC351A and NC351A/2 CPE's supply the central equipment point

for syst em c omponent integration. The NC351A supports up t o 4
master consoles and 256 addressable stations, while t he NC351A/2
supports up to 8 mast er consoles and 512 addressable stations.
The NC351A and NC351A/2 house t he necessary firmware to
operate all the NC300II System funct ions. From a single durable
metal enclosure, the central equipment supports (2) isolated serial
ports, field st ation ports, master console ports, optional single
common video output, and power requirements for up to 512
patient, staff and duty stations.
