The annunciator/control panel(s) shall be Alpha Communicat ions®
/ TekTone® NC110A or approved equal, with button-c ontrolled
circuits for tone on/off (ROUTINE calls only), tone test and tone
volume cont rol, plus indicator LEDs for EMERGENCY and
ROUTINE calls. Fifty (50) indicator LEDs shall be provided for
room annunciation, with removable labels to allow for c ustom point
markings. An audible signal shall be provided via an elect ronic
oscillator driving an enc losed 45-ohm speaker. An N/O isolated
relay cont act shall be available for anc illary off-board c all handling.
The unit shall use convenient plug-in connec tors to allow for ease
of wiring rough-in and shall connec t via two (2) supplied 6­foot cables. The housing shall be high-impact , flame­retardant (UL® 94V-0) Black plastic with a membrane-t ype
switc h for c ontrol butt ons and LEDs, and shall be desk mounted.

The NC110A shall be UL® 1069 Listed.

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

MasterMaster

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone® NC110A Audible Visual
Nurse Call Annunciator/Control Master provides for audible and
visual call indication without the use of intercom communicat ions.
A basic nurse-c all system may c onsist of an NC110A
annunciator/control master, room call stations, emergency c all
stat ions, dome lights, zone lights, control unit and power supply
equipment. Emergency signals are identified at
the annunciator/control panel by a rapid flashing of the
assoc iated stat ion indicat or LED, call LED and emergency LED; in
addition to a rapid pulsating tone. Routine calls are indicated by
the steady illumination of the stat ion selector LED, call LED, and a
slow pulsating tone. The tone may be c anceled for normal calls
by depressing the TONE ON/OFF butt on. EMERGENCY calls
take precedence over ROUTINE calls. Call signals can be canceled
at point of origin only. T one on/off and t one test functions
are button selectable from the c ontrol panel, and three (3) levels
of t one volume are button selectable with LED indicat ion.
Indicator LEDs signal the presence of EMERGENCY or ROUTINE
calls. T he NC110A has a maximum capacity of 50 selector
points. Multiple NC110A masters may be used toget her for
larger syst em capac ities. All selec tor LEDs, indicator LEDs and
control buttons are included on a membrane-t ype switch mounted
on a telephone-sized plastic housing. An N/O open isolated
relay cont act output for ancillary off- board call handling is
also included.
