Corridor/zone light(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / TekTone
model LI386C or approved equivalent. The supervised corridor lamp
shall be sectional in design. Light(s) shall include a YELLOW, RED
and GREEN flame retardant polycarbonate translucent plastic lens,
and a WHITE flame retardant polycarbonate t ranslucent plastic
lens. All lenses shall be mounted on a FOG-WHITE flame retardant
ABS plastic base panel. The lenses shall be individually removable
without the use of t ools for ease of bulb replacement. T he four (4)
bulbs in c onjunction with the different c olored lenses shall
provide for indicat ion of pat ient c all priority and st aff
presence. The stations, and wiring from the Central Processing
Equipment (CPE) to stat ions, shall be fully supervised. The
unit shall provide visual and digital communicat ions to and from the
CPE. Connections shall be plug-in type.
The LI386C shall be a stand-alone unit c onnecting directly to the
CPE, via the WM300B or WM300BP multiplex cable.
LI386C shall be U.L. 1069 listed t o t he latest 4th
Edition standards. Contrac tor shall observe all local elect rical
and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® / TekTone LI386C Dome/Zone
Light with built-in multipurpose stat ion provides visual indication of
calls originating from patient, staff, duty, bath, emergency,
presence, and code c all stat ions. The LI386C will also indicat e all
calls from the zones to which those stations are assigned and
provide communication to and from the c entral processing
equipment, including the nurse master stat ion(s) and monitor(s). It
is used with remotely-mounted devices such as switches, c ontact
closures, loudspeakers, or other signal-originating equipment. No
controls are provided.
