EL516SE 15-Pushbutton Encoder Module

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Golmar EL516SE 15 Pushbutton Encoder Module is a
compac t, assembly that mounts into a variety of pushbutton type lobby/entry
stat ions, in order to c onvert t he pushbutton type calling to a coded signal t hat is
recognized by t he assoc iated intercom and/or video-intercom stat ions.

The EL516SE mounts behind the pushbutton t ype lobby/entry stat ion, and a
maximum of eight (8) of the EL516SE units can be used (for a maximum of 120
stat ions), per syst em.

Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 15- Pushbutton Encoder Module(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / Golmar EL516SE, or approved equal. Module(s) shall be mounted
inside t he appropriate push butt on type video or intercom door entry station.

Module(s) shall be used to convert a st andard pushbutton type door entry stat ion to t ransmit an enc oded c all signal to be used with the
corresponding Golmar intercom and/ or video-intercom syst em.

A maximum of eight (8) of the EL516SE modules c an be used to c all a maximum of 120 apartment stations, per system.

The EL516SE module(s) shall have positive screw t erminal and wiring harness connectors.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and building codes.
