The Emergency (Call for Assistance) kit(s) shall
be Alpha Communications® EK154220 (without
buzzer) or EK154B220 (with buzzer/horn) or
approved equal. Dome lights shall include a
translucent plastic c over mounted on a
flame retardant ABS plastic panel, and
shall mount over a c onventional 1 or 2-gang
elect rical back box. Dome lights shall feature Hi­Brightness LEDs to eliminate c ostly bulb
replacement, and minimize downtime. Both
models shall operate on 220VAC primary power.

The Emergency Call PUSH switch shall be
mounted on a durable ABS plastic faceplate
marked "EMERGENCY". Signaling for assistance
shall only require a 'push' on the locking
pushbutton switch. Canceling the call shall
be possible only at the point of origin, by
pressing on the pushbutton switc h again to
release its loc king mechanism. Unit shall mount
on single-gang elect ric "gem" box or plaster
ring., and shall feat ure a RED 'call placed'
Indicator when act ivated (depressed).

The built -in buzzer/horn (in the EK154B220 kits)
shall sound as long as the dome light is lighted
(activated).

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building c odes.

The Alpha Communications® EK154220 and EK154B220 Emergency-Call Kits are the
ideal solution for a stand-alone 'Call for Assistanc e' applications where an emergency
PUSH switch is required. Typically these kits are ideal for use in health c are facilities,
public rest-rooms (toilets) and handicapped areas. These new and improved kits now
feature Dome Lights with Hi-Brightness White LEDs so there is no need for cost ly
bulb replacement s! Both models operate on 220VAC primary electrical power.

The model EK154220 consists of:

1- SF 154A Emergency Pull Cord station (RED Indicator style)
1- SS104 220VAC primary, 24VAC sec ondary (U.L Listed) pigtail Transformer
1- CDL101LED Corridor Dome Light (without a buzzer)

The model EK154B220 consists of

1- SF 154A Emergency Pull Cord station (RED Indicator style)
1- SS104 220VAC primary, 24VAC sec ondary (U.L Listed) pigtail Transformer
1- CDL123B Corridor Dome Light (with a built -in buzzer/horn)
