SPECIFICAT IONS

The Emergency (Call for Assistance) kit(s)
shall be Alpha Communications® EK117
(without buzzer) or EK117B (with
buzzer/horn) or approved equal. Dome
lights shall include a translucent plastic cover
mounted on a flame retardant ABS plastic
panel, and shall mount over a conventional 1
or 2-gang electrical back box . Dome lights
shall feature Hi-Brightness LEDs to eliminate
costly bulb replacement, and minimize
downtime.

The Emergency Call switch shall be
mounted on a durable ABS plastic
faceplate marked "EMERGENCY".
Signaling for assistance shall only
require a short pull in any direction on
the 6' nylon cord. Canceling the call
shall be possible only at the point of
origin. Unit shall mount on single-gang
electric "gem" box or plaster ring., and
shall feature a RED 'call placed'
Indicator when activated.

The built-in buzzer/horn (in the EK117B
kits) shall sound as long as the dome
light is lighted (activated).

Contractor shall observe all local and
national electrical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® EK117 and EK117B Emergency- Call Kits
are the ideal solution for a st and-alone 'Call for Assistance'
applications where an emergency switch is required. Typically these
kits are ideal for use in health care fac ilities, public rest-rooms
(toilets) and handicapped areas. These new and improved kits now
feature Dome Lights with Hi-Brightness White LEDs so there is no
need for c ostly bulb replacements!

The model EK117 consists of:

1- SF117/2A Emergency Pull Cord station (RED Indicator style)
1- SS106 24VAC (U.L Listed) pigtail Transformer
1 - CDL101LED Corridor Dome Light (LED type - without a
buzzer).

The model EK117B consists of

1- SF117/2A Emergency Pull Cord station (RED Indicator style)
1- SS106 24VAC (U.L Listed) pigtail Transformer

1- CDL123B Corridor Dome Light (LED type - with a buzzer).
