Specifications

The Pushbutton Call entrance panel(s) shall
be Alpha Communications® E512 series or
approved equal, and shall provide for 2, 4
or 6 pushbuttons per call panel.
Pushbutton switches shall be individually
replaceable type with self wiping contac ts
and built-in name holders, protec ted by a
snap-in polycarbonate c over, for signalling
to low-voltage devices.

The individual pushbutton switc hes c an be
illuminated for night viewing with the
addition of the optional model 10530 lamp
insert, which requires separate 8VAC
elect rical power.

The E512 shall have mounting holes to
flush mount t o Alpha Communications®

IH101 flush backbox(es) or IH102 flush

mounting ring(s) or IH700G surface
backbox(es).

Each E512 panel shall be made of 2mm
thick solid aluminum in a natural anodized
finish.

Contract or shall provide a model S1
screwdriver for panel maintenanc e.

Contract or shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

E512 Economy Series Apartment Pushbutton Call Entrance Panel

The Alpha Communicat ions® E512 Series entrance panel is a compact style series for use
with various types of apartment bell, buzzer, c hime or other low-voltage signalling devic es.
They are our most ec onomical entrance pushbutton c all panel stat ions for flush or surface
mounting, for up to 6 buttons.

The E512 series panels c an be flush or surfac e mounted, when used with the appropriate
back box/housing.

These compact panels are 5.00"W (127mm) x 7.00"H (178mm) and are available in 2
Button (E512/02), 4 button (E512/04) and 6 butt on (E512/06) configurations.

In addition, these pushbutton panels feature individually replaceable self- wiping
pushbutton switches with built-in nameholders, protec ted by a polyc arbonate snap-on
cover. Each pushbutt on can be illuminated (for night viewing) by the addition of the
optional model 10530 lamp insert (which requires separate power).
