The Emergency Pull stat ion(s) shall be Alpha Communications® /
Cornell E-144, or approved equal with momentary pull cord
operated switch, mounted on a durable Stainless Steel fac eplate
marked "EMERGENCY", permanently silk-sc reened onto the
fac eplate.

Unit shall mount on single-gang elect ric "gem" box or plaster ring.
Unit shall feature a 'Momentary' Normally-Open switc h that
activates when t he six (6) foot nylon cord is pulled. Unit shall have
pigtail wire c onnectors.

The Emergency Call switc h may be used with 'stand-alone'
emergency systems, or the DS100 series annunciator(s).

Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

E-144 Emergency Pull StationE-144 Emergency Pull Station

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Cornell E-144 Emergency Pull
stat ion is used to initiate a system 'Emergency' signal. It may be
used independently or connect ed with other c all stat ions and/or
intercom stat ions. The E-144 has a spring loaded Normally-Open
switc h that act ivates in a 'Momentary' fashion, only as long as the
pull cord is pulled.

Placing a c all is accomplished by pulling on the pull cord. This type
of 'Momentary' is usually canceled except at the master
annunciator st ation(s). The E-144 station feat ures a rugged
stainless st eel fac eplate, with the word 'EMERGENCY'
permanently silk-sc reened ont o the fac eplate.
