Specifications

The 'NoCoax' video distributor unit(s) shall
be Alpha Communications® / Elvox model

6670, or approved equal, and shall provide up to

four (4) amplified video outputs for the video­intercom system. The 6670 shall be built into
a rugged high impac t ABS plastic c ase, and
shall be powered by the syst em's DC power
supply.

Low voltage wiring shall be used and
positive sc rew terminal connectors shall be
provided for installation wiring. The 6670 shall be
mountable right to the surface of the wall or in
a c ustomer-supplied junct ion box cabinet.

Contract or shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

6670 'NoCoax' Video Distributor Unit

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Elvox 6670 'NoCoax' video distributor unit is used only
with the 6306 series video-intercom syst ems (or equivalent). The 6670 is used when
the video signal from the lobby entry camera(s) must be split (distributed) to several
coaxial cables.

The 6670 gets its DC power from t he syst em's power supply. All 6670 c onnect ions
are positive sc rew t erminal t ype.

Each 6670 has four (4) video outputs. When multiple 6670's are used, for systems
requiring more t han four (4) outputs, multiple 6670 units may be "daisy-chained" to
provide outputs in multiples of four (4).
