The annunciator c ontrol unit(s) shall be
Alpha Communicat ions® model AC219, or
approved equal, and shall provide tone,
control and power circuits needed t o
operate t he ent ire annunciator syst em.
The AC219 shall feat ure integrated
circuit call tone osc illator, DC power
supply, and form 'C' relay.

Low voltage wiring shall be used and
positive sc rew t erminals shall be provided
for installation wiring. The AC219 shall be
mountable right to the surface of the wall
or in the optional model CEC152 U.L.®
Listed junct ion box cabinet.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

The Alpha Communicat ions® AC219 annunciator control unit is used only with t he
AlphaEcall™, CM800, DS100 and SF202B series emergency-c all and intruder alarm syst ems
and annunciators. The AC219 is used t o provide tone signal, tone silencing, tone-silenced
visual indicat ion, auxiliary (form 'C') signal relay, and 24VDC for accessory device operation.
The AC219 operates on 16VAC (30VA) low-voltage Class II wiring, using our model SS106 or

SS146 transformer. All AC219 connect ions are positive screw terminal type.
