The 4G Cellular Interface unit(s) shall be
Alpha Communications® ABL-VOIPLCC

AlphaRefuge™ Series, or approved equal.

The ABL-VOIPLCC shall mount in a suitable
location and shall be powered by a standard
120vac electrical outlet. When used with the

AlphaRefuge™ Series Area of Refuge

system(s) the unit shall be powered by the

PWRAPC power supply and battery back-up

unit.

T h e ABL-VOIPLCC shall come with the
required cellular antenna and the antenna
shall be installed in a suitable location.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national electrical and building codes.

FEAT URES

Transmits both voice and data wirelessly
Allows you to use up to (2) elevator phones and the data
output from your elevator monitoring device
2100 series phone performs emergency communication
failure check and provides “alarm” output when cellular
network goes down
Places call via IP based cellular accounts. Must setup low
cost IP based account with the ALPHA® approved vendor.
Also a standard 4G LTE cellular account with either Verizon,
AT&T, T-Mobile, or a prepaid account.
Requires standard 15mm x 25mm SIM card.
Includes (2) FXS ports (RJ11) for phone connection and
connection for elevator monitoring device (if monitoring
output is phone based, as opposed to IP based, you can
only connect (1) 2100 s eries phone, the other FXS port is
for monitoring)
Requires 120vac power with battery backup or PWRAPC
Power Supply unit
Requires two wire connection from elevator phone to
cellular device and either two wire or ethernet from elevator
monitoring device
Surface mounted usually in machine room or location with
strong signal
Includes cellular antenna
VoIP Protocols: SIP v2, SDP, RTP, and RFC 2833
