The PRO700 remote st ation(s) shall be
Alpha Communicat ions® / Ring model

AB708 or approved equivalent.

Remote(s) shall be made of high-grade,
impact-resistant Beige ABS plastic with a
satin finish. Remote(s) shall feature a c all
button activating the door bell function to
all stations programmed as rec eivers
of t his funct ion, and shall require simple
loop wiring, with no c entral station
required. Remote(s) shall be surface wall
mount type and c an be flush wall
mounted using an optional model BF636
wall mounting plate with model BBF602
flush steel backbox. System shall power
off of a single PSDC24 series 24VDC
system power supply. T he PRO700 series
system shall be expandable to a maximum
of 40 total master and/or
remote st ations.

Contractor shall observe all local and
national elect rical and building codes.

The AB708 remote st ation is similar in design to the AA702 Master St ation, but without
display and keypad. It is designed for indoor conditions and is suitable as a door st ation.

The stat ion is equipped with a c all button activating the door bell function to all stations
programmed as rec eivers of this func tion. St ations receiving the distinctive door bell chime
patt ern can reply to t he door c all by dialling "5". A normal two way connect ion is then
established.

Removing a jumper in the station allows dialling to subscriber no.13 only. The surface
mounted st ation can easily be converted to a flush mounted model by using the c lipon front
plate BF636 and the BBF602 flush backbox.
