The master st ation(s) shall be Alpha
Communications® / Ring model AA918GY or
approved equivalent. Mast er(s) shall have
clear t wo-way communicat ions. Master(s) shall
be finished in Grey/Black plastic, and shall
feature a butt on keypad. Mast er(s) shall be desk
type and can be surfac e wall mounted using an
optional model GF934 wall mounting bracket.
Master(s) shall be used with t he RM5000EX
and/or CB901EX series microprocessor
intercom systems.

Master(s) shall have two levels of voice
capability: hands- free loudspeaking and total
private c ommunications (when used as
handset).

Master(s) shall require a model KB170 wall
mounting jack and plate and a BF640A series
plug-in connec tor c able and harness assembly.
The KB170 shall mount over a single
gang elect rical 'gem' box or plaster ring.

Contractor shall observe all local and national
elect rical and building codes.

Although only the size and weight of a c onventional telephone handset,
the AA918GY c ombines all the essential funct ions needed for effec tive internal
communicat ion in one compact unit: hands- free loud-speaking and confidential
tot al privacy. It is designed for a desk use or wall-mounting using an optional wall
bracket (model GF934). On the desk or wall, it permits the user to converse with the
caller, hands-free, from anywhere in the room. Mast er is designed to work with
the RM5000EX or CB901EX series microprocessor intercom systems.

When the AA918GY is picked up in handset mode, t he built-in speaker is tuned off for
a c onfidential private c onversation.
