Architects' And Engineers' Specifications

The 8- Digit Digi- Bus™ handsets shall be
Alpha Communications®/Elvox™ 6204 Petrarca st yle, or approved
equal. At each remot e location, c ontractor shall furnish and install
one (1) model 6204 handset. Each handset shall include its own
unique 8- digit coding and dec oding microcontroller. Handsets
shall be Soft White c olor and shall mount right to wall or st andard
single gang electrical "gem" box. Wiring to handset shall be 4­common wires (looped) per handset. Where required, each model

6204 remote handset shall have up to 4 model #6C59 2-

pushbutton modules installed, for special functions.

Contract or shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

6204 8-Digit Petrarca Digi-Bus™ Handsets

The Alpha Communicat ions® / Elvox 6204 (Pet rarca St yle)
handsets are part of the 8- digit Digi-Bus™ Digital Elect ronic Audio
Door Entry System, that can be used in Luxury Apartment
Buildings, Assisted Living Facilities, Dormitories, Health Care
Facilities, Hotels, Motels, Schools, Offices, Bowling Alleys
and Supermarkets. The 6204 series are advanced handsets, using
up to an 8-digit user c ode programmed directly from t he entrance
panel or switc hboard. The DigiBus™ system is ideal for large
building units because many installation problems have been solved
by eliminating t he use of switc hing modules, and its large c apac ity
of 99,999,999 remote handsets.

The 6204 handsets can be used as stand-alone audio units, or
combined with the 6000 series monitors for use as a video­intercom system. When used with the 6000 series monitor(s) a
model# 6145 wall plate is required and optional model# 6142 desk
mount kit.

(model# 6C59) 2-button add-on modules for special functions.
Screw terminal connec tions. Mounts directly on wall, or over single
gang elect rical "gem" box. Dimensions: 3.50"W (89mm) x 8.75"H
(223mm) x 3.50"D (89mm).
