CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Use only a soft, lint-free cloth dampened slightly with
water only (NO cleaning fluids!) to clean the SpeedNic
controller and the record stabilizer.
The SpeedNic controller and record stabilizer are
rugged, but it is best not to drop them or to drop
things on them.
DO NOT drop or otherwise place the controller in
water
Change the 3 “C” type alkaline batteries by removing
the bottom plate of the controller using the
appropriate screwdriver and replacing the batteries
as indicated inside.
OPERATION – “Simplicity Itself”
Place the record stabilizer on the platter or record,
depending on when measurement is desired to be taken
Use the “On/Off” switch on the top of the control unit to
turn the LED on and off
Select the desired turntable speed with the 33 / 45 / 78
switch adjacent to the On/Off switch
Move the flexible lamp stem so that the LED illuminates
the lines of the measurement ring on the outer edge of
the record stabilizer
Start your turntable
Check the measurement line on the stabilizer outer ring
and adjust turntable speed until measurement lines
