● Normal Runtime Operation

1. Normal streaming

◇ Using LTE to remote access or Wi-Fi to local access, the system allows user to

have real-time streaming.

◇ The smartphone application can control dashboard camera to perform rotate

360 degree to any direction.

2. Impact/incident video recording. When system detects any impact or abnormal differences of
pictures, the device will recording the current video into event list in the micro SD card. The
event can be playback.

Currently in beta version, the feature of event cloud upload is turned off the for saving

cloud memory and data plan, the feature will be enabled in the future.

The earliest video clips will be overwritten by the newest video clips when the SD

card is full.

● Two-way audio

The system supports two-way audio. The system must be in remote access mode to use
this feature with the smartphone’s microphone and speaker enabled and accessible by
the application.

1）When remote access the device, slide to the “Talk” panel
2）The listen mode is default mode
3）Press the Talk button to speak and release button to listen
4）The driver can talk and speak directly with no distractive interactions needed

● Take picture and video
1、Using panic button

◇ When the panic button is pressed, a photo and a 15-second video clip will be

taken with a SMS message sent to user’s phone, and the photo and video

uploaded to cloud at the meantime.

in the beta release of application, the emergency SMS, photo and video clips to

cloud are disabled, which can be enabled in the future.

2、Using Smartphone Application

With local Wi-Fi connection or remote LTE

connection, the streaming view

◇ Tap “Photo” to take a picture

◇ Tap “Video” to take a 15-second video clip.

1）With Local Wi-Fi connection, photos and video clips will be downloaded directly
to smartphone.

2）With Remote LTE connection, by the default setting, photos and video clips will

be stored in Micro SD card’s event video folder, which will be automatically

downloaded to smartphone upon next local Wi-Fi connection.

3）Remote LTE connection, the photo can be downloaded to the smartphone via

LTE if turn on the “remote photo return” button in the Application’s setting manual.

In this beta release, only photo can be downloaded to the smartphone via LTE,

the video download feature is turned off, in may turn on in the future.

3、Photo and Video Management

In the application’s main menu, tap “album”, the downloaded photos, video clips can

be viewed, managed and shared. It can also be managed In local Wi-Fi connection

mode by tapping “my snap”.
