Alexander HOT Pink User Manual

Hot. Pink. Drive.
The sound of all your neon nights on the Sunset Strip, now in a convenient and easy-to-swallow form.
Controls:
Level: Controls the output level of the pedal.
Drive: Adjusts the gain and distortion of the pedal.
Bass / Treble: Passive two-band tone stack, voiced
Contour: Active midrange lter, adds mids clockwise
and scoops mids counter-clockwise.
Bypass Switching:
Hot Pink features true-bypass switching using a soft-touch
bypass footswitch. Hot Pink will power on in either bypass mode or effect mode (useful if you are using the pedal with a remote bypass switching system.) Hold the footswitch at boot to toggle between bypass and effect startup modes. The pedal remembers your settings when the power is removed.
Great Tones, Doing Good:
Hot Pink 2015 production is limited to only thirty pieces
worldwide. Alexander Pedals will donate a portion of the proceeds from each Hot Pink to The Pink Fund, providing short-term aid to breast cancer patients. For more information please visit thepinkfund.org.
Power Supply:
Hot Pink requires a 9-18V DC power supply with a 2.1mm pin, center negative. The pedal will have more headroom and output volume if powered by a higher voltage supply. Hot Pink does not use a battery. The pedal should work
ne on a multi-pedal “daisy chain” connector,
but if you encounter excessive noise or hum, try a separate power supply. The pedal requires approximately 18mA.
