INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS, AS YOU
MAY NEED THEM AT ALATER DATE.

CAUTION – Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the
Fixture, in order to prevent possible shock.

Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure
That no parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation
Instructions.

FOR WALL MOUNT ( Fig. 1& 2 )

1. A)Place the #8-32 HEX NUT(5) onto the #8-32 FXTURE MOUNTING
SCREW(7). And attach the FIXTURE MOUNTING SCREW (7) to the
MOUNTING RACKET(4).or universal mounting plate (whichever is provided).
Do not tighten the HEX NUTS at this time.(Fig.1)
B) If the fixture uses a single 1/8”IPS NIPPLE(7) for mounting, thread the /8”IPS
HEX NUT(5) onto the NIPPLE (7), and screw the NIPPLE(7) into the
MOUNTING BRACKET(4).without tightening the HEX NUT(5).(Fig.2)

2. Pull the power supply wires out from the OUTLET BOX (3) and mount the

MOUNTING BRACKET (4) or the universal mounting plate to the OUTLET

BOX(3), using MOUNTING SCREWS(6).

3. Attach the SUPPLY BLACK WIRE (10) to the BLACK FIXTURE LEAD WIRE
(11) by using the WIRE CONNECTOR (12). In the same manner, attach the
SUPPLY WHITE WIRE (8) to the WHITE FIXTURE LEAD WIRE (9). Connect
the POWER SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (13) to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE
(14) using a WIRE CONNECTOR (12).

4. Place the CANOPY(15) on the fixture over the OUTLET BOX(3) and onto the
fixture mounting screws﹝ or NIPPLE (7).﹞,and adjust the #8-32 fixture
mounting screws (or NIPPLY) until they protrude out from the CANOY(15) 1/4”.
Remove the CANOPY(15) and secure the position of the fixture mounting screw
( or NIPPLE) by tightening the HEX NUT(S)(5) against the MOUNTING

RACKET(4). Place the CANOPY(15) back onto the fixture mounting screws,(or

NIPPLE), and secure into place using the DECORATIVE NUT(16) provided.

5. Screw the TAIL SECTION (18) (if provided) onto the COUPLING (19) located at
the bottom of the lamp compartment.

6. Screw a light bulb that does not exceed the maximum wattage specified on the
fixture label, into socket located inside the lamp compartment. Place the lamp
cover onto the top of the lamp compartment, and secure in position using the
decorative head screws provided.

7. After installing the fixture, caulk upper 2/3 of wire connection enclosure to
mounting surface. Leave bottom 1/3 uncaulked for drainage of any water
that might leak into the enclosure. The manufacturer recommends a

non-drying exterior caulking material. A good example is a clear silicone

rubber sealant for exterior use.

INSTALLATION COMPLETED

FOR POST MOUNT(Fig.3)

1. Place the fixture on the top of the POST (9) on which the fixture is to be mounted
and position as desired. Using the holes located on the POST CAP (3) mark the
hole position on the POST (9). Remove the fixture from the POST (9) and drill a
1/8” diameter hole at each marked position on the POST (9).

2. Pull the power supply wires out from the POST (9) and the fixture lead wires out from the
POST CAP (3), and attach the wires together by connecting BLACK to BLACK (6) and WHITE
to WHITE (5). Attach the POWER SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (7) to the FIXTURE GROUND

WIRE (8) using a wire connector rated for the size of wire being connected.

3. Place the connected wires down inside the POST (9), and mount the POST CAP (3) in place,
aligning the holes in the POST CAP (3) with the ones on the POST (9). Secure the POST CAP
(3) to the POST (9) using #10x1/2” long self-tapping SHEET METAL SCREWS (4) provided.

4. Screw a light bulb that dose not exceed the maximum wattage specified on the fixture label,
into the lamp socket. Place the LAMP COVER (1) onto the top of the lamp compartment, and
secure in position using the DECORATIVER HEAD SCREWS (2) provided.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN

POR FAVOR LEA CUIDADOSAMENTE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES Y
GUÁRDELAS PUES PUEDE NECESITARLAS EN EL FUTURO.

PRECAUCIÓN – Desconecte la línea de alimentación principal en el interruptor
de circuito antes de instalar el accesorio, a fin de prevenir posibles choques
eléctricos.

Saque el accesorio y el paquete de instalación de la caja y asegúrese de que no
falta ninguna parte comparando con las ilustraciones de las instrucciones de
instalación.

PARA MONTAJE EN LA PARED (Figuras 1&2)

1. A)Coloque la TUERCA HEXAGONAL IPS DE #8–32 (5) en el TORNILLO DE
MONTAJE DEL ACCESORIO (7), y una los TORNILLOS DE MONTAJE DEL
ACCESORIO (7) a la RAQUETA DE MONTAJE (4) o a una placa de montaje
universal (lo que se suministre).

No apriete las TUERCAS HEXAGONALES en este momento. (Figura 1)
B) Si el accesorio usa un solo NIPLE (7) para el montaje, enrosque la TUERCA

HEXAGONAL IPS DE 1/8” (5) en el NIPLE (7), y atornille el NIPLE (7) en la

RAQUETA DE MONTAJE (4), sin apretar la TUERCA HEXAGONAL (5). (Figura

2)

2. Hale los cables de alimentación fuera de la CAJA DE CONEXIONES (3) y monte la
ABRAZADERA DE MONTAJE (4) o la placa de montaje universal en la CAJA DE
CONEXIONES (3), usando los TORNILLOS DE MONTAJE (6).

3. Conecte el CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN NEGRO (10) al HILO CONDUCTOR
NEGRO DEL ACCESORIO (11) usando el CONECTOR DE ALAMBRE (12). De la
misma manera, una el CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN BLANCO (8) al HILO
CONDUCTOR BLANCO DEL ACCESORIO (9). Conecte el CABLE DE
ALIMENTACIÓN A TIERRA (13) al CABLE A TIERRA DEL ACCESORIO (14)
usando un CONECTOR DE ALAMBRE (12).

4. Coloque el DOSEL (15) en el accesorio sobre la CAJA DE CONEXIONES (3) y
sobre los tornillos de montura del accesorio o NIPLE (7), y ajuste los tornillos de

montaje #8-32 (o NIPLE) hasta que sobresalgan del DOSEL (15) de ¼”.

Retire el DOSEL (15) y asegure la posición del tornillo de montaje del accesorio (o
NIPLE) apretando las TUERCAS HEXAGONALES (5) contra la ABRAZADERA DE
MONTAJE (4). Coloque el DOSEL (15) de nuevo en los tornillos de montaje (o
NIPLE), usando la TUERCA DECORATIVA (16) que se suministra.

5. Atornille la SECCIÓN DE COLA (18) (si se suministra) en el ACOPLE (19)
ubicado en el extremo inferior del compartimiento de la lámpara.

6. Enrosque un bombillo que no exceda la potencia máxima especificada en la etiqueta
del accesorio, en el sócate ubicado dentro del compartimiento de la lámpara. Coloque
la cubierta de la lámpara en el tope del compartimiento de la lámpara y asegúrela en su
posición usando los tornillos decorativos que se suministran.

7. Cuando la instalación de la lámpara se haya hecho, tapar 2/3 de la parte superior de
la caja de concxión de cables a la superficie del montaje. Dejar 1/3 de la parte inferior

sin sellar para que salga el agua que se pueda meter en la caja. El fabricente

recomienda el uso de un material de tapar no secante especialmente diseñado para
exteriores, como por ejemplo la goma de silicona transparente para exteriores.

INSTALACIÓN COMPLETA

PARA MONTAJE EN POSTE (Figura 3)

1. Coloque el accesorio en el tope del POSTE (9) en el cual va a montarse el
accesorio y póngalo en la posición deseada. Usando los ojales ubicados en el
CASQUETE DEL POSTE (3), marque la posición del ojal en el POSTE (9). Retire

el accesorio del POSTE (9) y taladre un ojal de 1/8” en cada posición marcada en el

POSTE (9).

2. Hale los cables de alimentación del POSTE (9) y los hilos conductores del
accesorio fuera del CASQUETE DEL POSTE (3), y una los cables entre sí
conectando NEGRO a NEGRO (6) y BLANCO a BLANCO (5). Conecte el CABLE
DE ALIMENTACIÓN A TIERRA (7) al CABLE A TIERRA DEL ACCESORIO
(8) usando un cable conector adecuado para el tamaño de cable que se está

conectando.

3. Coloque los cables conectados dentro y abajo en el POSTE (9), y monte el
CASQUETE DEL POSTE (3) en su lugar, alineando los ojales del CASQUETE
DEL POSTE (3) con los del POSTE (9). Asegure el CASQUETE DEL POSTE (3) al
POSTE (9) usando los TORNILLOS PARA LÁMINAS METÁLICAS (4) para
conexión intermedia #10x1/2” (4) que se suministran.

4. Enrosque un bombillo que no exceda la potencia máxima especificada en la
etiqueta del accesorio, en el sócate de la lámpara. Coloque la CUBIERTA DE LA
LÁMPARA (1) en el tope del compartimiento de la lámpara y asegúrela en su
posición usando LOS TORNILLOS DECORATIVOS (2) que se suministran.

ATTENTION :Fermez le disjoncteur principal de boîte d’alimentation
électrique avant d’installer le luminaire mural afin de prévenir l’électrocution.

POUR MONTAGE MURAL(Schéma 1&2)

1. A)Placez l’ ÉCROUS HEXAGONAL #8-32IPS (5) sur la VIS D’ASSEMBLAGE
DU MONTAGE (7), et enfilez la VIS D’ASSEMBLAGE DU MONTAGE (7) au
GOUJON D’ASSEMBLAGE(4), ou à la platine de montage ,(selon ce qui est
fourni). Ne serrez pas l’ ÉCROUS HEXAGONAL #8-32 IPS(5) pour l’instant.

B) Si le montage contient une seule TIGE FILETÉ (7)pour le Montage, enfilez
L’ÉCROU HEXAGONAL 1/8”IPS(5) sur la TIGE FILETÉ (7) et vissez
L’ÉCROU HEXAGONAL 1/8”IPS(5) au GOUJON D’ASSEMBLAGE(4),
sans serrer l’ÉCROU HEXAGONAL 1/8”IPS(5)(Schéma 2.)

2. Tirez le fil conducteur électrique hors de la BOÎTE DE SORTIE(3), et montez le
GOUJON D’ASSEMBLAGE(4) ou la platine universelle à la BOÎTE DE
SORTIE(3), utilisez les VIS D’ASSEMBLAGE(6)

3. Attachez le FIL ÉLECTRIQUE NOIR(10) au FIL CONDUCTEUR NOIR

DU MONTAGE (11),utilisez un CAPUCHON DE CONNEXION(12). Faites de
même pour le FIL ÉLECTRIQUE BLANC(8) au FIL ÉLECTRIQUE BLANC (8).
Connectez le FIL CONDUCTEUR DE TERRE DE L’ALIMENTATION
ÉLECTRIQUE (13) au FIL CONDUCTEUR DE TERRE DU MONTAGE(14),
utilisez UN CAPUCHON DE CONNEXION(12) .

4. Placez la COURONNE(15) sur le montage par dessus la BOÎTE DE SORTIE(3) et
par dessus les vis d’assemblage (ou la TIGE FILETÉ(7) et ajustez la vis
d’assemblage #8-32(ou LA TIGE FILETÉ),jusqu’à ce qu’elle sorte de la
COURONNE(15) de 1/4” Retirez la COURONNE(15) et maintenez la vis
d’assemblage #8-32(ou LA TIGE FILETÉ(7),en place en serrant l’ ÉCROU
HEXAGONAL(5) contre le GOUJON D’ASSEMBLAGE(4). Replacez la
COURONNE(15) sur les vis d’assemblage #8-32(ou LA TIGE FILETÉ(7), et
maintenez bien en place en utilisant l’ ÉCROU DÉCORATIF (16) fournies.

5. Vissez l’EMPENNAGE(18)(si fourni) au RACCORD(19) situé au fond du
compartiment de la lampe.

6.Vissez une ampoule qui ne dépasse pas le nombre de watt maximum recommandé
sur l’étiquette du montage, dans la douille à l’intérieur du compartiment de la lampe.
Placez le couvercle de la lampe sur le compartiment de la lampe, et maintenez le en
place À l’aide du capuchon décoratif fourni.

7. Lorsque l’installation de la lanterne est terminée, calfeutrez les 2/3 supérieurs du

boîtier des connexions des fils à la surface du mur. Laissez 1/3 non calfeutré pour le
drainage de l’eau qui pourrait s’infiltrer dans le boîtier. Le fabriquant recommande
D’utiliser un calfeutrant non siccatif (qui ne sèche pas). Un bon exemple serait un
scellant caoutchouc silicone clair pour usage extérieur.

INSTALLATION COMPLÉTÉE

POUR UN MONTAGE SUR POTEAU(Schéma 3)

1. Placez le montage sur le bout du POTEAU(9) que vous avez choisi et positionnez
le selon vos goûts. Utilisez l’orifice situé en haut du CHAPEAU DE POTEAU(3)
faites une marque de l’orifice sur le POTEAU(9). Retirez le montage du
POTEAU(9) et percez un trou de 1/8”de diamètre à chaque marques sur le
POTEAU(9).

2. Tirez les fils électriques hors du POTEAU(9) et les fils conducteurs du montage
hors du CHAPEAU DE POTEAU(3), et attachez les fils ensemble en connectant
CONNEXION FIL NOIR À FIL NOIR(6) et CONNEXION FIL BLANC À FIL
BLANC(5). Attachez le FIL CONDUCTEUR ÉLECTRIQUE(7) au FIL
CONDUCTEUR DE TERRE DU MONTAGE(8) à l’aide d’un capuchon de
connexion adapté au calibre des fils connectés.

3. Replacez les fils connectés à l’intérieur du POTEAU(9) et installé le CHAPEAU

DE POTEAU(3) à sa place, alignez les trous du CHAPEAU DE POTEAU(3) et
ceux du POTEAU(9). Maintenez le CHAPEAU DE POTEAU(3) au POTEAU(9)
à l’aide d’une longue VIS À TÔLE(4) auto taraudeuse fournie.

4. Vissez une ampoule qui ne dépasse pas le nombre de watt maximum recommandé
sur l’étiquette du montage, dans la douille à l’intérieur du compartiment de la lampe.
Placez le CHAPEAU DE LAMP (1) sur le compartiment de la lampe, et maintenez
le en place À l’aide du capuchon VIA À TÊTE DÉCORATIVE (2) fourni.
