POSITIONING
The Product 8 Integrated Amplifier is a class A/B type device, and as such it will need to dissipate a little heat. It
should therefore be placed on a flat surface with free space all around. Under no circumstances must the unit become
covered as this may result in the unit overheating.
MAINS POWER CONNECTION
The Product 8 Integrated Amplifier comes with an IEC mains lead fitted with the relevant plug type for the country
of use. If there is any need to change this then follows the relevant instructions for the plug type used.
There is an external replaceable fuse on the rear of the unit: refer to specifications for fuse value.
Never replace with a different value.
Be sure that your system is switched off whilst connecting / disconnecting any leads.

FASCIA C ONTROLS
The controls on the fascia of the Product 8
Integrated Amplifier are: V

OWER, MUTE and 6 INPUTS SELECTORS with a
power indicator above the volume control.
All functions are duplicated on the Product 8
Integrated Amplifier remote handset (except
Power).
OLUME: Use this control to adjust to your required
V
listening level. You will probably find that the
maximum usable volume will be attained at
approximately two o'clock position on the
volume control (See Loudspeaker Matching)

OWER: This will allow the Product 8
Integrated Amplifier to be either fully
powered up or completely switched off.
When the unit is first powered up it will revert
to the volume to zero and select input 1. The
mute function will also be set.

UTE: Once the Product 8 Integrated
Amplifier has been initially switched and
powered up, this function will allow you to
toggle between; normal listening and mute.

NPUTS SELECTORS: These determine the
source component to be listened to. These
selections are also controlled by the Product 8
Integrated Amplifier remote handset. The selected
input will also be routed to the tape output sockets.
OLUME CONTROL,
REMOTE H ANDSET
The Product 8 Integrated Amplifier comes supplied with a full function
handset. It requires one CR2032 3V battery (supplied) to operate and
the functions are as follows:
