Description
The Tray Transport Cart serves as the transport for dirty trays. The cart
has been designed to provide the optimum in operational simplicity
and reliability.
Specifications
The main cart body is constructed of a modified high impact
polypropylene plastic providing unparalleled durability in a satellite
meal delivery cart. Panel material allows for exceptionally easy
cleaning due to nonstick surface and resistance to virtually all
cleaning chemicals.
Base frame and top are constructed of heavy gauge 304 stainless
steel. All remaining metal components use rust inhibiting metals
or coatings. All parts are easily field replaceable to insure years of
extended life.

The cart is equipped with heavy duty casters (6” swivel) incorporating
a “total lock” brake which locks both wheel and cater rotation
simultaneously with a simple downward motion of the brake pedal.
The tires are a non-marking, soft gray rubber and are specifically
designed to roll easily over rough terrain as well as carpeting.
Capacity
The capacity of each cart is 20 trays. The trays are loaded from both
ends of the cart. Shelves holding the trays are numbered 1 through
10 on the back end, and 11 through 20 on the front end. When trays
are inserted from either end and are slid into the cart, a molded
recess holds the trays in place, preventing shifting or sliding once
positioned properly.
