SESAM 506- Door opening system
TRANSMITTER
The transmitter operates on a 9V alkaline battery. Pushbutton 1, 4 = OPEN, button 2, 5 = CLOSE, button 3, 6 = STOP
RECEIVER
The permanent installation of the building must submit fuses, which
protects the equipment and wiring from over-current and short-circuit. The
power supply of the equipment and all relay-contacts must be fused.
All that fuses are used as separation devices. They must be easily accessible,
must submit a contact-gap of at least 3.0 mm and has to be placed in the line
pole (L).
After the installation of the equipment, the installed cables must be
bound together (e.g. by using a cable binder) very close to the terminal
blocks.
If the receiver is mounting unprotected for rain it must be mounted
horizontally.

CODING
The receiver and the transmitter have to be coded by the electrician. The transmitter and receiver
are provided with 10-pole switches SW1 with 3 possible positions (+, 0, -).
Switch 1-3
The code is divided into two parts, area code and door code.
The area code (switch 1-3) has to be identical for all the transmitters and the receivers, which are to
be working together.
Switch 4-10
Door codes are coded as example below.
Transmitter
Corresponding port number in the receiver
gives Upper line Lower line
voltage 115 VAC
In areas with more than 2 ports you have to code after the table. Switch 1-6 are coded identically
in transmitter and receiver. The upper button line on the transmitter correspond to the lower portĀnumber in the table. The lower button line on the transmitter correspond to the upper portnumber in
the table.
