Einleitung

Ihre MF-355RF kann bis zu acht gängige Infrarot-Fernbedienungen ersetzen. Sie ist mit Codes für nahezu alle Fernseher, Videorecorder / DVD Spieler, Satellitenempfänger / Kabelsignalumwandler, CD Spieler, Audioverstärker und Tuner vorprogrammiert.

Die MF-355RF sendet parallel zum Infrarotsignal ein Funksignal aus. Das ausgesendete Funksignal beinhaltet die selben Informationen wie das Infrarotsignal, kann jedoch raumübergreifend wirken und somit nach Umwandlung in ein Infrarotsignal für jedes zu bedienende Gerat genutzt werden. Zusammen mit einen Funk-IR-Umwandler (nicht mitgeliefert) können Sie also jedes Gerät das Sie auf der MF-355RF Universalfernbedienung eingestellt haben bedienen, auch wenn dieses Gerat sich im Zimmer nebenan befindet.

Diese Bedienungsanleitung wird Ihnen bei der Einstellung der MF-355RF auf Ihre Geräte helfen. Bewaren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig auf.

Batteriewechsel

Die MF-355RF benötigt zwei neue AAA/LR03- Alkalibatterien.

1. Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite der

MF-355RF.

2. Legen Sie die Batterien der (+)- und (-)-Markierung

entsprechend in das Batteriefach ein.

3. Drücken Sie den Deckel wieder auf das Batteriefach, bis er

einrastet.

Funktionstasten

1. POWER (Ein/Aus) -Taste

Die POWER-Taste funktioniert auf dieselbe Weise wie die entsprechende Taste Ihrer Originalfernbedienung.

2. Gerätetasten (mit roter Leuchtdiode - LED)

Während Sie die MF-355RF bedienen, leuchtet eine Gerätetaste (LED) auf, um Ihnen anzuzeigen welcher Gerätemodus aktiviert ist. Mit diesen Tasten wählen Sie das Gerät aus, das Sie Fernbedienen möchten.

3. (-/--)-Taste

Wenn Ihre Originalfernbedienung über eine 10- Taste verfügt, erzielen Sie das gleiche Ergebnis, wenn Sie die (-/--)-Taste drücken.

4. Menü-Taste

Diese Taste erfüllt dieselbe Funktion wie auf Ihrer Originalfernbedienung.

5. GUIDE-Taste

Diese Taste erfüllt dieselbe Funktion wie auf Ihrer Originalfernbedienung. Wenn Sie im SAT Modus die “Guide“ Taste erhalten Sie die “Guide“ Funktion, sofern dies auf Ihrer Originalfernbedienung möglich ist.

6. AV-Taste

Diese Taste erfüllt dieselbe Funktion wie auf Ihrer Originalfernbedienung. Im AUD Modus ist es möglich das diese Taste die Eingangsquelle wechselt (wenn auf Ihre Originalfernbedienung dafür eine einzige Taste benutzt wird).

7. Richtungstasten

Wenn auf Ihrer Originalferndienung vorhanden, werden diese Tasten Ihnen die Navigation im Menü ermöglichen. Bei einigen Fernsehern müssen die CH+/- und VOL+/- ODER die Farbtasten (rot, grün, gelb, blau) für die Navigation im Menü gedrückt werden; dies hängt von ihrem Fernsehermodell ab.

8. ENTER-Taste

Im Menü Modus wird diese Taste Ihre Wahl bestätigen (Bestätigungstaste).

9. Lautstärke +/- (VOL+/-)

Diese Tasten funktionieren auf dieselbe Weise wie die entsprechenden Tasten Ihrer Originalfernbedienung.

10. MUTE (Stummtaste)

Diese Taste erfüllt dieselbe Funktion wie auf Ihrer Originalfernbedienung.

11. SETUP-Taste

Die SETUP-Taste dient dazu, die MF-355RF Einzustellen.

12. Programm +/- (CH+/-)

Diese Tasten funktionieren auf dieselbe Weise wie die entsprechenden Tasten Ihrer Originalfernbedienung.

13. A, B, C, D

Diese Sonderfunktionstasten sind FREIE-Tasten, nutzbar für Lernfähigkeit (Seite 10) oder Macro Funktionen (Seite 12).

14. Transport Tasten (PLAY, STOP, REW usw.)

Mit diesen Tasten steuern Sie die Funktionen Ihres Videogeräts, DVD-Spieler usw. Um eine unbeabsichtigte Aufzeichnung zu vermeiden, muss die Aufnahmetaste (Record) zweimal gedrückt werden. Die SP/LP Taste kontrolliert die Speedfunktion und die Auto-Taste die Trackingfunktion wie auf Ihre Originalfernbedienung.

15. Videotext/Toptext-Tasten

Diese Tasten werden benötigt um die Hauptfunktionen des Videotextes zu steuern. Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass Ihr Fernseher Videotext empfangen kann. Weitere Erklärungen zu Videotext und Toptext finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Fernsehers. Denken Sie daran, dass bei verschiedenen Geräten die Videotext- und Toptext- Funktionen auch unterschiedlich bedient werden. Es kann sein, dass bei Ihrem Modell nicht alle Videotext Funktionen verfügbar sind.

TEXT EIN: Schaltet den Text ein. Wenn Sie sich im Text

Modus befinden (abhängig von Ihrem Fernseher), drücken Sie diese Taste um zu MIX oder TEXT AUS zu gelangen.

TEXT AUS: Schaltet den Fernseher in den normalen

Fernsehmodus zurück. Bei einigen Fernsehmodellen muss die “TEXT EIN“ Taste zu diesem Zweck mehrmals gedrückt werden.

MIX: Zeigt Videotext und Fernsehbild gleichzeitig.

HALT/ STOP: Stoppt das Wechseln der Unterseiten.

16. Nummerntasten

Die Nummerntasten (1 - 9, 0) bieten dieselben Funktionen wie die entsprechenden Tasten Ihrer Originalfernbedienung, beispielsweise die Programmdirektwahl. Im AUD Modus wird durch die Nummerntasten die Eingangsquelle direkt bestimmt (wenn auf Ihre Originalfernbedienung vorhanden).

Einstellen der MF-355RF

Beispiel: Abstimmen auf Ihren Fernseher:

1. Schalten Sie Ihren Fernseher ein (nicht auf Standby).

2. Suchen Sie den Code Ihres Geräts im Codebuch (Seite 50 - 69).

Die Codes sind nach Markennamen geordnet. Die gängigsten Codes sind jeweils an erster Stelle aufgeführt.

3. Drücken Sie kurz die TV-Taste der MF-355RF.

4. Drücken Sie anschließend die SETUP-Taste und halten Sie diese gedrückt bis die rote

Leuchtdiode (unter Gerätetaste) der MF-355RF zweimal blinkt. Die Leuchtdiode blinkt erst einmal, dann zweimal.

5. Geben Sie mit Hilfe der Nummerntasten den vierstelligen Code Ihres Fernsehers ein. Die

Leuchtdiode blinkt zweimal.

6. Richten Sie die MF-355RF nun auf Ihren Fernseher und drücken Sie die

POWER-Taste. Wenn sich Ihr

Fernseher ausschaltet, ist die MF-355RF Fernbedienung richtig eingestellt.

- Die meisten Fernseher lassen sich nicht mit der POWER Taste

einschalten. Bitte drücken Sie eine der “Nummerntasten“ um Ihren Fernseher wieder einzuschalten.

- Wenn Ihr Gerät nicht reagiert, wiederholen Sie bitte die Schritte

2 bis 6 mit einem anderen Code, der unter Ihrer Marke aufgelistet ist. Wenn Ihr Gerät nicht mit einem der aufgelisteten Codes Ihrer Marke funktioniert, versuchen Sie es mit dem Code- Suchlauf auf Seite 8, auch für den Fall dass Ihre Gerätemarke nicht in der Code- Liste aufgeführt ist.

- Manche Codes sind sich sehr ähnlich. Wenn Ihr Gerät gar nicht

oder nicht richtig funktioniert, versuchen Sie einen anderen Code unter Ihrer Gerätemarke.

- Wenn Ihre Originalfernbedienung vom Videorecorder / DVD

keine POWER Taste hat, drücken Sie anstelle von POWER während Schritt 6 die PLAY Taste.

- Um Ihre anderen Geräte einzustellen, folgen Sie den selben

Anweisungen. Drücken Sie aber bei Schritt 3 die gewünschte Gerätetaste.

- Vergessen Sie nicht, die richtige Gerätetaste zu drücken, bevor

Sie Ihr Gerät bedienen. Es kann nur ein Gerät pro Gerätetaste zugeordnet werden.

Code-Suchlauf

Wenn Sie Ihr Gerät nicht mit der MF-355RF fernbedienen können, nachdem Sie alle aufgelisteten Codes Ihrer Gerätemarke ausprobiert haben, versuchen Sie es mit dem Code-Suchlauf. Dies gilt auch für den Fall, daß Ihre Marke nicht in der Liste aufgeführt ist.

Beispiel: Code-Suchlauf für Ihren Fernseher:

1. Schalten Sie Ihren Fernseher ein (nicht auf Standby).

2. Drücken Sie die TV-Taste der MF-355RF

Fernbedienung.

3. Drücken Sie anschließend die SETUP-Taste und halten Sie diese gedrückt bis die rote

Leuchtdiode (unter Gerätetaste) der MF-355RF zweimal blinkt (Die rote Leuchtdiode blinkt erst einmal, dann zweimal).

4. Geben Sie nun 9 9 1 ein. Die rote Leuchtdiode blinkt zweimal.

5. Als nächstes drücken Sie die POWER Taste.

6. Richten Sie die MF-355RF auf Ihren Fernseher.

Drücken Sie CH+ bis sich Ihr Fernseher ausschaltet Wenn Sie die CH+ Taste drücken wird die MF355RF das POWER Signal vom jeweils nächsten Code im Speicher aussenden. Möglicherweise

müssen Sie diese Taste viele Male drücken (bis zu 150 Mal). Haben Sie etwas Geduld.

Wenn Sie einen Code verpasst haben, können Sie zu dem vorherigen Code zurück schalten, indem Sie die Taste CH- drücken. Beachten Sie bitte, dass Ihre MF-355RF immer auf Ihr Gerät gerichtet ist, wenn Sie diese Taste drücken.

7. Sobald sich Ihr Fernseher ausschaltet drücken Sie die SETUP-Taste um den Code zu speichern.

- Die meisten Fernseher lassen sich nicht mit der POWER Taste

einschalten, bitte drücken Sie eine der “Nummerntasten“ um Ihren Fernseher wieder einzuschalten.

- Wenn Sie Ihren Fernseher nicht richtig bedienen können,

wiederholen Sie bitte den Code-Suchlauf, vielleicht haben Sie noch nicht den richtigen Code gefunden.

- Um den Code für ein anderes Gerät zu suchen, befolgen Sie bitte

die gleichen Anweisungen. Drücken Sie jedoch bei Schritt 2 die entsprechende Gerätetaste.

- Wenn die Originalfernbedienung Ihres Videorecorders / DVD

keine POWER-Taste hat, drücken Sie bei Schritt 5 anstelle von POWER die PLAY-Taste.

Identifizierung der durch den Suchlauf gefundenen Codes

Beispiel: Den aktuell programmierten Fernseh-Code ausblinken:

Drücken Sie die TV-Taste.

2. Drücken Sie die SETUP-Taste und halten Sie diese

gedrückt, bis die rote Leuchtdiode der MF-355RF Fernbedienung zweimal blinkt. (Die rote Leuchtdiode blinkt erst einmal dann zweimal).

3. Drücken Sie nun 9 9 0. Die Leuchtdiode blinkt zweimal auf.

4. Für die erste Ziffer des vierstelligen Codes drücken Sie 1 und zählen Sie, wie oft die rote Leuchtdiode aufleuchtet. Wenn die rote Leuchtdiode nicht aufleuchtet, ist die gesuchte Ziffer “0”.

5. Die zweite Ziffer erhalten Sie, wenn Sie 2 drücken und zählen, wie oft die rote Leuchtdiode aufleuchtet.

6. Die dritte Ziffer erhalten Sie, wenn Sie 3 drücken und zählen, wie oft die rote Leuchtdiode aufleuchtet.

7. Um die vierte Zahl zu erhalten, drücken Sie die Taste 4 und zählen, wie oft die rote Leuchtdiode blinkt.

Damit haben Sie nun den vierstelligen

Code ermittelt.

- Um auf die gleiche Weise die Codes Ihrer anderen Geräte

auszulesen, drücken Sie bitte bei Schritt 1 die entsprechende Taste.

Lernfunktion

Die MF-355RF hat als Extra eine spezielle Lernfähigkeit, die Ihnen ermöglicht jede Funktion Ihrer Originalfernbedienung auf die MF-355RF zu kopieren.

Bevor Sie anfangen:

• es ist sehr wichtig, dass Ihre Originalfernbedienung einwandfrei

funktioniert.

• weder die MF-355RF noch Ihre Originalfernbedienung sollte auf

das Gerät gerichtet sein.

• Sie können insgesamt etwa 30 lernbare Funktionen einlernen.

• Führen Sie diese Prozedur niemals unter der Einwirkung des

direkten Sonnenlichts oder hellem Lampenlicht durch.

Beispiel: Das Kopieren der Funktion “mono/stereo” der TV Fernbedienung auf die A-Taste der MF-355RF.

1. Legen Sie beide Fernbedienungen (die MF-355RF und

die Originalfernbedienung) auf eine flache Oberfläche und vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Fernbedienungen mit der Vorderseite (die Sie normalerweise auf Ihr Gerät richten) aufeinander zeigen. Halten Sie zwischen den Fernbedienungen einen Abstand von 2 bis 5 cm ein.

2. Drücken Sie die SETUP Taste und halten Sie diese

gedrückt

bis die Gerätetaste zweimal aufleuchtet.

3. Drücken Sie 975, die Gerätetaste leuchtet wieder zweimal auf.

4. Drücken Sie die Gerätetaste (auf der MF-355RF

Fernbedienung), auf die Sie die extra Funktion einlernen möchten (Beispiel: TV-Taste).

5. Drücken Sie nun die Taste auf der MF-355RF,

auf die Sie

die Funktion einlernen möchten (Beispiel: A-Taste). Die Gerätetaste wird flimmernd aufleuchten.

6. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste auf der

Originalfernbedienung, deren Funktion Sie kopieren

möchten eingedrückt, (Beispiel: “mono/stereo”-Taste) bis die Gerätetaste auf der MF-355RF zweimal aufleuchtet.

7. Wenn Sie eine weitere Funktion derselben

Originalfernbedienung einlernen möchten, wiederholen Sie einfach die Schritte 5 bis 6.

Sie verlassen den Lernmodus, indem Sie die SETUP Taste gedrückt halten, bis die Gerätetaste zweimal aufleuchtet.

9. Wenn Sie die gelernte Funktion anwenden möchten, sollten

Sie erst die Gerätetaste drücken und dann die Funktionstaste.

Gerätetasten neu belegen

Auf Wunsch können Sie jede Gerätetaste neu belegen, um einen anderen Typ oder ein anderes Gerät bedienen zu können.

Beispiel 1:

Wenn Sie einen Fernseher auf die AUX 2-Taste programmieren möchten, können Sie die AUX 2 -Taste in eine TV-Taste umwandeln.

Die AUX 2-Taste ist jetzt eine TV-Taste.

Um die Einstellung für Ihren Fernseher zu vervollständigen drücken Sie:

Beispiel 2:

Wenn Sie einen Fernseher auf die SAT-Taste programmieren möchten, müssen Sie die SAT-Taste in eine TV-Taste umwandeln.

Die SAT-Taste ist jetzt eine TV-Taste.

Um die Einstellung für Ihren

Fernseher zu vervollständigen drücken Sie:

Wiederherstellung der Gerätetaste

Beispiel: Wenn Sie die AUX 2 Taste wiederherstellen möchten, drücken Sie:

SAT Taste wiederherstellen möchten, drücken Sie:

(*) Drücken Sie die SETUP-Taste und halten Sie diese

gedrückt, bis die rote Leuchtdiode (LED) zweimal blinkt.

(**) Die rote Leuchtdiode blinkt erst einmal dann

zweimal.

Programmieren eines Makro

Sie können Ihre MF-355RF so programmieren, dass sie mit einem Knopfdruck eine Folge von Befehlen durchführt. Beispiel: Sie möchten Ihren Fernseher, Videorecorder und Satellitenempfänger mit einem Knopfdruck ausschalten.

Beispiel: Um die obengenannte Befehlsfolge auf die A Taste Ihrer MF-355RF einzustellen:

1. Drücken Sie die SETUP-Taste und halten Sie diese

gedrückt, bis die Gerätetaste zweimal blinkt (Die Gerätetaste

blinkt erst einmal dann zweimal).

2. Geben Sie 9 9 5 ein.

3. Drücken Sie dann die A-Taste. (Dies ist die Taste, der die

Befehlsfolge zugeordnet werden soll.)

4. Drücken Sie TV, POWER, VCR, POWER, SAT, POWER.

5. Um die Befehlsfolge zu beenden, drücken Sie die SETUP-

Taste und halten Sie diese gedrückt, bis die Gerätetaste

der MF-355RF zweimal blinkt (Die Gerätetaste blinkt erst einmal dann zweimal).

Also: Sobald Sie die A-Taste drücken, wird die MF-355RF nun Ihren Fernseher, Videorecorder und Satellitenempfänger ausschalten.

- Jedes Makro kann eine Sequenz von bis zu 15 Befehlen

speichern!

- Versichern Sie sich im voraus, dass Sie die Taste, auf die Sie das

Makro einprogrammieren, nicht für andere Möglichkeiten nutzen möchten.

- Sobald Sie ein Makro auf eine bestimmte Taste einprogrammiert

haben, wird die Befehlsfolge aktiviert, unabhängig davon in welchen Modus Sie sich zur Zeit befinden.

- Wenn Sie eine Taste auf der Originalfernbedienung für längere

Zeit eindrücken mussten, um die Funktion aktivieren zu können, so wird diese Funktion nicht in einem Makro auf der MF-355RF aktiviert werden können.

Um den Makro zu entfernen

Um den Macro von der A-Taste zu entfernen:

SETUP* 9 9 5 A-Taste SETUP*

* Hier müssen Sie die SETUP Taste drücken, bis die Gerätetaste

zweimal blinkt.

Löschen der Fernbedienungskommandos:

Reset (981):

Drücken und halten Sie die Setup-Taste fest bis die rote LED zweimal blinkt, dann die Taste loslassen. Geben Sie dann den Code 981 ein.

Beachten Sie bitte die Blinkzeichen der roten LED für die unterschiedlichen Fernbedienungstypen:

Bei der MF-150 und MF-250 wird die rote LED zweimal blinken, dann nach einer kurzen Verzögerung einmal lange blinken. Bei der MF-350 und MF-355RF wird die LED zweimal blinken, dann nach einer kurzen Verzögerung, wird sie ebenfalls zweimal blinken.

Problem und Lösung

* Rote Leuchtdiode (unter Gerätetaste) blinkt nicht, wenn eine

Taste gedrückt wird?

- Batterien durch 2 neue AAA-Alkali-Batterien austauschen.

* Die MF-355RF reagiert nicht, wenn eine Taste gedrückt wird?

- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie neue Batterien verwenden und

dass Sie die MF-355RF auf Ihr Gerät richten.

* Die MF-355RF steuert nicht Ihr(e) Gerät(e)?

- A) Probieren Sie alle für Ihr Gerät aufgelisteten Codes.

- B) Versuchen Sie es mit dem Code-Suchlauf auf Seite 8.

* Ihre Marke ist nicht in der MF-355RF Code Liste aufgeführt?

- Versuchen Sie es mit dem Code-Suchlauf auf Seite 8.

* Die MF-355RF führt die Befehle nicht angemessen durch?

- Möglicherweise verwenden Sie den falschen Code. Versuchen Sie

bitte alle Codes die unter Ihrer Marke in der Liste stehen. Sollte dies nicht zu einem Resultat führen Starten Sie den CodeSuchlauf noch einmal, um den richtigen Code zu finden.

* Probleme beim Kanalwechsel?

- Geben Sie die Kanalnummer genauso wie bei Ihrer

Originalfernbedienung ein.

* Videorekorder / DVD-Rekoreder nimmt nicht auf?

- Als Sicherheitsfunktion Ihrer MF-355RF müssen Sie

die Aufnahme-Taste zweimal drücken.

Your MF-355RF universal remote can replace up to eight standard infrared remote controls and is preprogrammed with codes to operate virtually any Television, Video Recorder, DVD Player, Satellite Receiver / Cable Converter, CD Player, Amplifier and Tuner.

Simultaneously to Infrared (IR) the MF-355RF will send Radio Frequency (RF). The RF-signal contains the same information as the IR-signal. The advantage of RF is that it can travel through walls. After being transferred back to IR-signal you are able to control a device that is located somewhere else in the house. Using a RF-IFtransfer device (not included) you will be able to control every device you have set up with the MF-355RF universal remote, even if this device is located in the room next door. Call 35 05 68-33 for more information.

This manual will assist you in setting up the MF-355RF universal remote, so please be sure to keep it.

Batteries

The MF-355RF universal remote requires 2 new AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries.

1. Lift off the cover by pulling the battery compartment cover tab.

2. Install two fresh AAA/LRO3 batteries as indicated by the

illustration in the battery compartment.

1. POWER key

The Power key operates just as it did on your original remote.

2. DEVICE KEYS

During operation the device key will light up to indicate the mode you are using. These keys select the device to be operated.

3. -/-- key

The -/-- key (or 10 key function, if available on your original remote control) is used for one/two digit input switching.

4. MENU

The MENU key operates the same function it did on your original remote control.

5. GUIDE

The GUIDE key operates the same function it did on your original remote control.

6. AV key

The AV key operates the same function it did on your original remote control. In AUD mode the AV key will give you the possibility for direct input selection if your original remote has one single key for input selection.

7. Directional keys

If available on your original remote control, these keys will allow you to navigate through the menu. On some TV’s you may have to press CH+/- and VOL+/- keys OR the color keys (red, green, yellow, blue) to navigate through the menu, depending on your model of TV.

8. ENTER

In menu mode this key will confirm your choice. On some devices you can confirm your menu option simply by pressing MENU.

9. Volume +/-

The Volume +/- keys operate just as they did on your original remote control.

10. MUTE

The MUTE key operates just as it did on your original remote control.

11. SETUP key

The SETUP key is used to set up the MF-355RF universal remote with your devices.

12. Channel +/-

The Channel +/- keys operate just as they did on your original remote control.

13. A, B, C, D keys

These keys are spare keys that give you the possibility to customize the MF-355RF universal remote according to your original remote control using the “Learning feature” (see page 22) or Macro feature see page 24.

14. Transport keys (PLAY, STOP etc.)

These keys operate the transport functions (PLAY, FF, REW etc.) of your device. To prevent accidental recording, the RECORD key must be pressed

twice to start recording. In VCR mode

the SP/LP key controls the tape speed function, the AUTO key controls the auto tracking function, just like on your original remote.

15. Teletext keys

These keys are used to operate the main teletext functions. Of course, your Television must have teletext capability. For a more detailed explanation of teletext and fastext, please refer to the manual of your television. Remember, different televisions control teletext and fastext functions in different ways. Not all of the teletext functions may be available on your particular model.

TEXT ON: In TV mode: once in text mode, pressing this

key may switch to MIX or TURN OFF text, depending on your television.

TEXT OFF: In TV mode: switches the television back to

regular viewing mode and changes back to TV-main screen. On some televisions this may be done by pressing the “TEXT ON” key several times.

MIX: Shows both text and TV picture.

HOLD/STOP: Stops changing pages.

16. Number Keys

The Number keys (1 – 9, 0) operate just as they did on your original remote control. In AUD mode, the number (1 – 9, 0) keys may provide (if available on your original remote) an INPUT function (TUNER, CD etc.).

Setting up the MF-355RF universal remote

Example: to set up the MF-355RF for your Television:

Switch your Television on (not on standby).

2. Find your device code in the code section (page 50 – 69) Codes

are listed by brand name. The most popular code is listed first.

3. Press and release the TV key on your MF-355RF

4. Then press and hold down the SETUP key and keep it pressed until the red light (LED under

device key) blinks twice.

5. Enter your 4-digit code

Search Procedure

If your device does not respond to the MF-355RF universal remote after you have tried all the codes listed for your brand, you may need to search for your code. This method may also work if your brand is not listed at all.

Example: to search for your Television Code:

1. Switch your Television on (not on standby).

2. Press the TV key on your MF-355RF.

3. Press and hold down the SETUP key until the

red light (LED under device key) on the MF-355RF blinks twice.

4. Press 9 9 1, the red light will blink twice.

5. Next, press POWER.

6. Aim the MF-355RF at your Television. Now press CH+ over and over, until your Television turns off

(every time you press the CH+ key the MF-355RF will send out a POWER signal from the next code contained in the memory).

You may have to press this key many times (up to 150 times) so please be patient.

If you skip past a code, you can go to the previous code(s) by pressing the CH- key. Remember to keep pointing the MF-355RF at your Television while pressing this key.

7. As soon as your television turns off, press SETUP

to store the code.

- Most TV’s do not switch on pressing the POWER key. Please try pressing a “number” key to switch your TV back on.

- If you cannot control your Television properly, please continue the Search Procedure, you may be using the wrong Code.

- To search for the code for another device follow the instructions above only press the appropriate device key instead of TV during step 2.

- If the original remote control of your Video recorder or DVD player does not have a POWER key, press PLAY instead of POWER during step 5.

Identifying the Codes you found using the Search Procedure

Once you have Set-Up your MF-355RF, you can blink back your Set-up Code for future reference. Example: to blink out your television code:

Press the TV key once.

2. Press and hold down SETUP until the red light

(LED under device key) blinks twice (the red light will blink once then twice).

3. Press 9 9 0. The red light will blink twice.

4. For the first digit of your four-digit code, press 1

and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is „0“.

5. For the second digit of your four-digit code, press

2 and count all the red blinks. If there are no

blinks, the digit is „0“.

6. For the third digit of your four-digit code, press 3

and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is „0“.

7. For the fourth digit of your four-digit code, press

4 and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is „0“. Now you have your fourdigit code.

- To blink back the code for your other devices, press the appropriate device key during step 1.

Learning function

The MF-355RF offers a special Learning feature that allows you to copy almost any function from your original remote control onto the keypad of the MF-355RF.

Before you start:

• Make sure your original remote is working correctly.

• Make sure neither your MF-355RF, nor your original remote

control is pointing at your device.

• The MF-355RF can learn approximately 30 functions.

• Please make sure not to use the learning procedure when in

direct sunlight or under incandescent lights.

Example: To copy the "mono/stereo" function from your original TV remote control onto the A-key of your MF-355RF.

1. Place the MF-355RF and your original remote control on

a flat surface. Make sure the ends which you normally point at your device are facing each other. Keep the remotes at a distance of 2 to 5 cm.

2. Press and hold the SETUP

key until the red light blinks

twice. The red light will blink once then twice.

3. Press 9 7 5 (the red light blinks twice).

4. Press the device key (e.g. TV key) on the MF-355RF remote to

select the mode to which you want to copy the learned function.

5. Press the key (e.g. A key) on the MF-355RF remote where you

want to place the learned function. The red light will flash rapidly.

6. Press and hold the key (on your original remote control)

that you want to copy until the red light blinks twice (e.g.

mono/stereo key).

7. If you want to copy other functions within the same mode,

simply repeat steps 5 and 6 pressing the next key you want to copy by learning.

8. To exit the learning mode, press and hold the SETUP key

until the red light blinks twice.

Changing the Device keys

If you want, you can change any of the device keys to operate another type of device.

Example 1:

To program a Television on the AUX 2 key (for example), you need to change the AUX 2 key into a TV key, so press:

Programming a Macro

You can program your MF-355RF to issue a sequence of commands at the press of one button. For example, you may want to turn off your TV, VCR and Satellite Receiver at the same time.

Example: To set up the Macro mentioned above on the key labeled A on your MF-355RF:

1. Press and hold SETUP until red light (LED under device key)

blinks twice (the red light will blink once then twice).

2. Press 9 9 5.

3. Then press the A key to which the Macro will be assigned.

4. Next press TV, POWER, VCR, POWER, SAT, POWER.

5. To store the Macro, press and hold SETUP until red light

(LED under device key) blinks twice (the red light will blink once then twice).

Result: whenever you press the A key, the MF-355RF will turn off your TV, VCR and Satellite Receiver.

- Each MACRO can consist of a maximum of 15 key strokes.

- Make sure that you program a Macro on a spare key that you don’t use in any mode (e.g. A, B, C, D keys).

- Once you program a Macro on a specific key, the sequence will work regardless of the mode you are using.

- If you had to hold down a key for a few seconds on the original remote control to get a function, this function may not work in a macro on your MF-355RF remote.

To erase a Macro

Example. To erase the Macro from the A key, press:

Problems and Troubleshooting

* Red light (LED under device key) does not blink when you press

a key?

- Replace batteries with 2 fresh, new AAA alkaline batteries.

* The MF-355RF does not respond after pressing a key?

- Make sure you are using new batteries and are pointing the MF-355RF at your device.

* The MF-355RF does not operate your device(s)?

- A) Try all the codes listed for your brand. B) Try the Code Procedure on page 20.

* Your brand is not listed in the MF-355RF code section?

* The MF-355RF is not performing commands properly?

- You may be using the wrong code. Try repeating the Direct Set-Up using another code listed under your brand or start the search Procedure over again to locate the proper code.

Introductie

Uw MF-355RF kan acht standaard infrarood afstandsbedieningen vervangen en is voorgeprogrammeerd met codes van bijna alle televisies, videorecorders / DVD spelers, satellietontvangers / kabel decoders, CD-spelers, audio versterkers (amplifiers) en ontvangers (tuners).

De MF-355RF stuurt gelijktijdig Infrarood (IR) en Radio Frequency (RF) uit. Het RF-signaal bevat dezelfde informatie als het IR-signaal. Het voordeel van RF is dat het signaal muren kan doordringen. Dit geeft u de mogelijkheid om in samenwerking met een „Radiotransmissiesysteem‰ (niet meegeleverd) alle apparaten die u op de MF-355RF heeft ingesteld vanuit elke kamer in uw woning te bedienen.

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing zal u helpen bij het instellen van de MF355RF op uw apparaten. Bewaar deze handleiding zorgvuldig, zodat u in deze zonodig, in de toekomst, nogmaals kunt raadplegen.

De batterijen

Uw MF-355RF heeft 2 nieuwe AAA/LR03 (alkaline) batterijen nodig.

1. Open het batterijvakje aan de achterkant van uw MF-355RF.

2. Volg de + en - instructies in het batterijvakje voor het inleggen

van de batterijen.

1. POWER (Aan/Uit) toets

De POWER toets werkt op dezelfde wijze als op uw originele afstandsbediening.

2. Apparaattoetsen

Tijdens het gebruik van de MF-355RF zullen de apparaattoetsen oplichten, zodat u altijd weet in welke modus u bezig bent. Deze toetsen selecteren het apparaat dat u wilt bedienen.

3. -/-- Toets

Als uw originele afstandsbediening een omschakeling voor het ingeven van één of twee cijfers heeft, kunt u deze functie met de -/-- toets bedienen, welke dezelfde is als een 10 toets.

4. MENU toets

De menu toets zal op dezelfde manier functioneren als op uw originele afstandsbediening.

5. GUIDE toets

De GUIDE toets zal op dezelfde manier functioneren als op uw originele afstandsbediening. In de SAT/CBL modus zal de “GUIDE” toets toegang geven tot de “GUIDE” functie (als deze functie ook op de originele afstandsbediening voor handen is).

6. De AV toets

Deze toets werkt op dezelfde manier als op uw originele afstandsbediening. In de AUD modus geeft de “AV”-toets de mogelijkheid tot directe input selectie, als u originele afstandsbediening over één toets beschikt voor de input selectie.

7. Richtingstoetsen

Als deze toetsen ook op uw originele afstandsbediening voor handen zijn dan kunt u met deze toetsen binnen het menu navigeren. Op sommige apparaten dient u de CH+/- en VOL+/OF kleurtoetsen (rood, groen, geel, blauw) te drukken om in het Menu te navigeren (afhankelijk van uw originele afstandsbediening).

8. ENTER Toets

In de menu modus zal deze toets uw keuze bevestigen. Bij sommige apparaten dient de MENU toets als bevestigingstoets.

9. Volume +/- Toetsen (VOL +/-)

11. SETUP-toets

De SETUP-toets dient voor de instelling van de MF-355RF en als toegangstoets voor speciale functies.

12. Kanaal +/- Toetsen (CH +/-)

Deze toetsen werken op dezelfde manier als op uw originele afstandsbediening.

13. A, B, C, D Toetsen

Dit zijn “vrije” programeerbare toetsen, waarop u functies van uw originele afstandsbediening kunt plaatsen met de leer(kopieer)functie (pag. 34) of kunt gebruiken voor Macro functies (pag. 36).

14. Toetsen REW, PLAY etc.

Deze toetsen bedienen de functies van uw videorecorder, DVD speler etc.. Om het per ongeluk opnemen met de "recordtoets" te voorkomen, moet deze toets twee maal ingedrukt worden als u wilt opnemen.

15. Teletekst/Toptekst toetsen

Deze toetsen worden gebruikt voor de belangrijkste teletekst functies. Het spreekt voor zich dat uw televisie hiervoor wel over teletekst functies moet beschikken. Let wel, verschillende televisies bedienen teletekst en sneltekst op verschillende manieren. Het kan zijn dat niet alle teletekst functies voorhanden zijn op uw televisie model. Met de SP/LP toets kunt u de bandsnelheid bedienen en met de AUTO toets kunt u de auto tracking functie bedienen, net als op uw originele afstandsbediening

TEKST AAN: Met deze toets kunt u teletekst inschakelen.

TEKST UIT: Met deze toets kunt u teletekst uitschakelen.

Bij sommige televisies moet u voor deze functie de TEXT AAN toets een paar keer drukken.

MIX: Laat Teletext en het normale tv beeld tegelijk

zien.

PAUSE / STOP: Met deze toets kunt u een pagina

vasthouden.

16. Nummertoetsen

De nummertoetsen (1 - 9, 0) werken ook op dezelfde wijze als uw originele afstandsbediening. In AUD modus is het mogelijk dat de nummertoetsen (1 – 9, 0) INPUT-functies weergeven (bijv. TUNER, CD etc.)

Het instellen van de MF-355RF

Zet uw televisie aan (niet op standby)

2. Zoek de 4-cijferige code voor uw televisie in de codelijst (pag.

50 - 69). De codes staan per product en merknaam vermeld. De meest gebruikte codes staan als eerste vermeld. Zorg ervoor dat uw televisie aan is (niet op standby).

3. Druk kort de TV toets van uw MF-355RF.

4. Houd vervolgens de SETUP toets zolang

ingedrukt, totdat het rode lampje (onder de

POWER toets) twee keer knippert. Het rode lampje knippert eerst één keer, dan twee keer.

5. Geef de 4-cijferige TV code in met behulp van

de nummertoetsen. Het rode lampje zal twee keer knipperen.

6. Richt nu de MF-355RF op uw televisie en druk

POWER. Als uw televisie zich uitschakelt, is de MF-

355RF klaar om uw televisie te bedienen.

- De meeste televisies gaan niet aan met de POWER toets. Probeer een “nummertoets” om de TV weer aan te doen.

- Als uw televisie niet reageert, herhaalt u dan stap 2 - 6 met elke code die voor uw merk vermeld staat. Als geen van de codes op uw televisie reageert, probeer dan de zoekmethode die beschreven staat op pagina 32.

- Sommige codes lijken heel veel op elkaar. Als uw apparaat niet reageert of niet goed werkt met een van de codes, probeer dan de volgende code in de lijst voor uw merk.

- Als de originele afstandsbediening van uw videorecorder of DVD speler geen POWER toets heeft, druk dan, bij stap 6, de PLAY toets i.p.v de POWER toets.

- Om andere apparaten te programmeren, volgt u eveneens de bovenstaande instructies. Druk dan tijdens stap 3 de betreffende apparaattoets.

- Let erop dat u eerst de corresponderende apparaattoets drukt voordat u een apparaat bedient. Er kan maar één apparaat aan iedere apparaattoets worden toegewezen. Als uw originele afstandsbediening meer dan één apparaat bediende, dan zult u deze waarschijnlijk op de MF-355RF elk op een aparte apparaattoets moeten programmeren

De Zoekmethode

Als uw apparaat helemaal niet op de MF-355RF reageert nadat u alle codes voor uw merk heeft uitgeprobeerd, kunt u ook zoeken naar uw code. U kunt de zoekmethode ook uitproberen als uw merk helemaal niet in onze lijst voorkomt.

Bijvoorbeeld: Het zoeken van uw televisie code:

1. Zet uw televisie aan (niet op standby) en richt de MF-355RF

gedurende de zoekloop op uw televisie.

2. Druk kort de TV toets van uw MF-355RF.

3. Houd vervolgens de SETUP toets zolang

ingedrukt, totdat het rode lampje twee keer

knippert (het rode lampje knippert eerst één keer, dan twee keer).

4. Druk 9 9 1. Het rode lampje zal dan twee keer

knipperen.

5. Druk nu kort de POWER toets.

6. Richt de MF-355RF op uw televisie. Druk nu telkens

CH+ toets totdat uw televisie zich uitschakelt

(telkens als u de CH+ toets drukt zend de MF355RF het POWER signaal van de volgende code in het geheugen). Het kan zijn dat u dit een

langere tijd moet volhouden (ongeveer 150 keer), dus heeft u a.u.b. een beetje geduld.

Als u terug wilt naar de vorige code kunt u dat doen met de CH- (Kanaal -). Vergeet niet uw MF355RF gedurende het zoeken op uw televisie gericht te houden.

7. Nadat uw televisie uitgeschakeld is, drukt u de

SETUP toets om de code vast te zetten. De MF-

355RF zou nu klaar moeten zijn om uw apparatuur te bedienen.

- De meeste televisies gaan niet aan met de POWER toets. Probeert u een nummertoets of de TEKST UIT toets om de TV weer aan te doen.

- Schakel uw apparaat weer in en probeer alle functies van de MF355RF, om zeker te zijn dat ze allemaal werken. Als niet alle functies van de MF-355RF goed reageren, probeer dan de zoekmethode nog een keer. Het kan zijn dat u niet de juiste code gebruikt.

- Om de code voor uw andere apparaten te zoeken, volgt u de stappen zoals hierboven beschreven, alleen drukt u in plaats van in stap 2 de desbetreffende apparaattoets.

- Als de originele afstandsbediening van uw apparaat geen POWER toets heeft, druk dan, bij stap 5, op de PLAY toets i.p.v. de POWER toets.

Identificatie van opgeslagen code

Nadat u de zoekmethode heeft toegepast, kunt u de code die de MF-355RF gebruikt uitlezen. Het is altijd handig om de basiscode voor uw apparaten te weten. Bijvoorbeeld: Het uitlezen van uw TV code:

Druk kort de TV toets van uw MF-355RF.

2. Houd vervolgens de SETUP toets gedrukt,

totdat de TV toets twee keer knippert (de TV toets knippert eerst één keer, dan twee keer).

3. Druk 9 9 0. De TV toets zal twee keer knipperen.

4. Voor het eerste cijfer van de 4-cijferige code drukt

u de nummer

1 toets. Tel nu hoe vaak de TV toets

knippert. Knippert hij helemaal niet dan is het eerste cijfer 0.

5. Voor het tweede cijfer drukt u de nummer 2 toets.

Tel nu hoe vaak de TV toets knippert. Knippert hij helemaal niet dan is het tweede cijfer 0.

6. Voor het derde cijfer drukt u de nummer 3 toets.

Tel nu hoe vaak de TV toets knippert. Knippert hij helemaal niet dan is het derde cijfer 0.

7. Voor het vierde cijfer drukt u de nummer 4 toets.

Tel nu hoe vaak de TV toets knippert. Knippert hij helemaal niet dan is het vierde cijfer 0.

Nu heeft

u uw 4-cijferige code.

- Om de code van uw andere apparaten uit te lezen, volgt u de instructies als hierboven vermeld, alleen drukt u bij stap 1 de desbetreffende apparaattoets.

Aanleren van functies

Voor uw gemak heeft de MF-355RF de speciale leermogelijkheid. Deze leermogelijkheid stelt u in staat welke functie dan ook van uw originele afstandsbediening naar uw MF-355RF te kopiëren.

Voordat u begint:

• Verzeker u ervan dat uw originele afstandsbediening perfect werkt.

• Verzeker u ervan dat uw MF-355RF en uw originele

afstandsbediening niet op uw apparaat gericht zijn.

• De MF-355RF kan ongeveer 25 gekopieerde functies programmeren.

• Het kopiëren mag niet plaatsvinden in het directe zonlicht en

niet onder wit licht.

Bijvoorbeeld: Het kopiëren van de functie “mono/stereo” van uw originele TV afstandsbediening naar de A toets van de MF-355RF.

1. Plaats beide afstandsbedieningen (de MF-355RF en uw

originele afstandsbediening) op een vlakke ondergrond. Zorg ervoor dat van beide afstandsbedieningen de kant, waarmee u normaal op uw apparatuur richt, nu op elkaar gericht is. De afstand tussen beide afstandsbedieningen mag niet groter zijn dan 2-5 cm.

2. Houd de SETUP toets gedrukt,

tot de apparaattoets twee keer knippert (de apparaattoets knippert eerst één keer, dan twee keer).

3. Druk 9 7 5 (de apparaattoets knippert twee keer).

4. Druk de apparaattoets op de MF-355RF om demodus te

selecteren waarnaar u de functie wilt kopiëren

(Bijvoorbeeld: de TV toets).

Als u meer functies in dezelfde modus wilt kopiëren, herhaalt u de stappen 5 en 6, door telkens de volgende toets, die u wilt kopiëren, te drukken.

8. Om de leermogelijkheid te beëindigen, houdt u de SETUP toets gedrukt, tot de apparaattoets twee keer knippert.

9. Als u een gekopieerde functie wilt bedienen, dient u eerst de

juiste apparaattoets te drukken.

Omprogrammeren van Apparaattoetsen

Programmeren van Macro’s

U kunt de MF-355RF met één enkele knopdruk een hele serie commando’s laten uitvoeren. Bijvoorbeeld, u wilt uw televisie, videorecorder en satellietontvanger gelijktijdig uitschakelen.

Om de hierboven beschreven commando’s op de A toets te programmeren van uw MF-355RF, gaat u als volgt te werk:

1. Houd de SETUP toets zolang ingedrukt, totdat de

apparaattoets twee keer knippert (de apparaattoets knippert eerst een keer, dan twee keer).

2. Druk 9 9 5.

3. Druk de A toets, op deze toets wordt de Macro

geprogrammeerd.

4. Druk TV, POWER, VCR, POWER, SAT, POWER.

Om de Macro in het geheugen op te slaan, houdt u de SETUP toets zolang ingedrukt, totdat de apparaattoets

twee keer knippert (de apparaattoets knippert eerst één keer, dan twee keer).

Resultaat: Telkens als u de A toets drukt, zal uw televisie, videorecorder en satellietontvanger met één druk uitgeschakeld worden.

- Elke Macro kan maximaal 15 commando’s bevatten.

- Zorg ervoor dat u de Macro programmeert op een toets, die in

geen enkele modus een functie heeft (Toetsen A, B, C en D).

- Als u een Macro op een toets heeft geprogrammeerd werkt deze

in elke modus.

- Als u op uw originele afstandsbediening een toets langere tijd

gedrukt moest houden om de gewenste functie te krijgen, is de kans groot dat u deze functie niet in een Macro op de MF-355RF afstandsbediening kun programmeren.

Het wissen van een Macro

• Om de Macro op de A toets te wissen, drukt u:

SETUP* 9 9 5 A key SETUP*

* Houd de SETUP toets zolang ingedrukt, totdat de apparaattoets

twee keer knippert (de apparaattoets knippert eerst een keer, dan twee keer).

Probleem en oplossing

* Het rode lampje (LED onder een apparaat toets) van de MF-

355RF blinkt niet als u op een toets drukt?

- Vervang dan de batterijen met nieuwe AAA/LR03 batterijen.

* De MF-355RF reageert niet als u een toets indrukt?

- Verzeker u ervan dat de batterijen goed zijn en dat de MF-355RF

op het te bedienen apparaat gericht is.

* De MF-355RF bedient u apparaten niet?

- a) Probeer alle codes die bij uw merk vermeld staan.

b) Probeer de zoekmethode op pagina 32.

* Problemen met het wisselen van kanaal?

* Uw videorecorder / DVD-R neemt niet op als u de record toets

indrukt?

- Ter beveiliging moet u de record toets tweemaal indrukken om

Introduction

Votre MF-355RF peut commander huit appareils: un téléviseur, un magnétoscope / DVD, un récepteur satellite / décodeur, Lecteur CD, Amplificateur audio et Tuner.

Le MF-355RF envoie en même temps des infrarouges (IR) et des fréquences radio (RF). Les ondes RF contiennent les mêmes informations que les signaux IR. L‚avantage des ondes RF est qu‚elles peuvent traverser les murs. Une fois les ondes RF transformées en IR, Vous pouvez commander un appareil situé dans une autre pièce de la maison. Grâce à un appareil de transformation RF-IR (non inclus), vous serez en mesure de commander tous les appareils installés sur votre télécommande universelle MF-255RF, même si cet appareil se situe dans la pièce d‚à côté.

Il se peut que vous ayez besoin de nouveau de ce mode d’emploi dans le futur, aussi nous vous conseillons de le conserver précieusement.

Les piles

Votre MF-355RF nécessite deux piles alcalines AAA/LR03.

1. Ôtez le couvercle du logement des piles au dos de votre

MF-355RF.

2. Placez les piles dans le logement en respectant les polarités

(+ et -) indiquées.

1. POWER (Veille)

La touche Power fonctionne de la même façon que celle de votre ancienne télécommande.

2. Touches d'appareil / LED (D.E.L)

La diode électroluminescente D.E.L. (sous une touche d’appareil) s’allume en rouge, pour montrer que la télécommande est en marche Ces touches sélectionnent l‘appareil que vous désirez faire fonctionner.

3. Touche -/--

Si votre télécommande d’origine utilise un numéro à un/deux chiffres pour changer de chaîne (symbole -/--), cette fonction peut être obtenue en appuyant sur la touche -/-- qui est la même touche que la touche 10.

4. Menu

La touche MENU reproduit la même fonction que celle de votre télécommande d’origine.

5. Guide

La touche GUIDE reproduit la même fonction que celle de votre télécommande d’origine. En mode SAT/CBL, la touche ”Guide” vous offrira la fonction ”Guide”, si présente sur la télécommande d’origine.

6. Touche AV

La touche AV fonctionne de la même manière que celle de votre télécommande d’origine. En mode AUD La touche « AV » vous donne la possibilité de sélectionner directement la source (tuner, cd etc.), si la télécommande d’origine ne possède qu’une seule touche pour la sélection des sources.

7. Touches directionnelles

Ces touches vous permettront de naviguer au travers du menu si elles sont également présentes sur la télécommande d’origine. Sur certaines télévisions, il est possible que vous ayez besoin d’appuyer sur les touches CH+/- et VOL+/- ou sur les touches de couleur (rouge, jaune, vert, bleu) afin de naviguer dans le menu, cela dépend de votre modèle de télévision.

8. Touche ENTER

Dans le mode menu, cette touche « ENTER » confirme un choix.

10. Arrêt du son (Mute)

La touche Arrêt du son fonctionne de la même façon que celle de votre ancienne télécommande.

11. Touche SETUP

La touche SETUP sert à installer votre MF-355RF et à accéder à des fonctions spéciales.

12. Chaîne +/-

Ces touches fonctionnent exactement comme sur votre télécommande d‘origine.

13. Touches A, B, C, D

Ces touches sont des touches qui vous donnent la possibilité de personnaliser la télécommande MF-355RF en utilisant la Technologie d’apprentissage (voir page 46). Vous pouvez également vous servir de ces touches pour programmer des macros (voir page 48).

14. Touches de transfert (REW, PLAY, STOP etc.)

Après avoir appuyé sur VCR/DVD, ces touches commandent les fonctions de votre magnétoscope ou DVD. Pour éviter des enregistrements accidents vous devez appuyer deux fois sur la touche d’enregistrement pour mettre en marche l‘enregistrement.

15. Touches Télétexte/Fastexte

Ces touches sont utilisées pour accéder aux fonctions télétexte de votre téléviseur. Celui-ci doit bien sûr disposer de ces fonctions au départ. Pour plus d’informations sur le télétexte et le fastexte, veuillez vous référer au mode d’emploi de votre téléviseur. Rappelez-vous, certains téléviseurs commandent le télétexte et le fastexte de façon différente. Toutes les fonctions télétexte ne seront peut-être pas disponibles pour votre modèle particulier. La touché SP/LP commande la fonction de vitesse de visionnement, la touché AUTO commande l’alignement (ou tracking) comme sur la télécommande d’origine.

TEXTE/MARCHE: Met en marche le mode télétexte du

Téléviseur.

TEXTE/ARRÊT: Permet de retourner en mode normal de

télévision. Sur certains Téléviseurs, vous pouvez obtenir cette fonction en pressant plusieurs fois la touche TEXTE/MARCHE.

MIX: Fait apparaître télétexte et programme

télévisé simultanément.

PAUSE/ STOP: Arrête le changement de pages du Télétexte.

16. Touches numériques

Les touches numériques (1 – 9, 0) remplissent les mêmes fonctions que sur votre télécommande d‘origine, comme la sélection directe de chaîne. En mode Audio, ces touches vous offrent directement les sorties de votre équipement (dépendant de votre télécommande d’origine).

Installation de la MF-355RF

Exemple: Pour installer votre MF-355RF pour la commande de votre téléviseur procédez comme suit.

Mettez en marche votre téléviseur (pas en veille).

2. Cherchez le code de votre téléviseur dans la liste des codes (page 50 – 69). Les codes sont listés par nom de marque. Le code le plus courant est listé en premier.

3. Pressez puis relâchez la touche TV.

4. Appuyez et maintenez pressée la touche

SETUP jusqu'à ce que la LED rouge (en dessous

d’une touche d‘appareil) clignote deux fois (elle s'allume une fois puis clignote deux fois).

5. Introduisez le code à quatre chiffres de votre

téléviseur en utilisant les touches numérotées. La lampe témoin clignote deux fois.

6. Pointez votre MF-355RF vers votre téléviseur et sur

POWER. Si votre téléviseur s’éteint, cela signifie

que votre MF-355RF est prête à commander votre téléviseur.

- Beaucoup de téléviseurs ne se rallumeront pas en réappuyant sur

la touche VEILLE, alors essayez une «touche numérique» ou la «touché Texte/Arrêt».

- Si votre appareil ne répond pas, suivez les étapes de 2 à 6 avec

chacun des codes listés pour votre marque. Si aucun des codes listés pour votre marque ne fait fonctionner votre appareil, essayez la «méthode de recherche » décrite en page 44» même si votre marque n’est pas listée du tout.

- Certains codes se ressemblent. Si votre appareil ne répond pas ou

s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement avec l’un des codes, essayez un autre code pour votre marque.

- Si la télécommande d’origine de votre magnétoscope / DVD ne

possédait pas de touche VEILLE, appuyez alors sur la touche LECTURE au lieu de VEILLE pendant l’étape 6.

- Pour installer vos autres appareils, suivez les mêmes instructions

que ci-dessus mais appuyez sur la touche d’appareil appropriée lors de l’étape 3.

- Rappelez-vous d’appuyer sur la bonne touche d’appareil avant de

pouvoir commander celui-ci. Seul un appareil peut être affecté à une touche.

Méthode de recherche

Si votre appareil ne répond pas à la MF-355RF après avoir essayé tous les codes listés pour votre marque, essayez la méthode de recherche suivante. Cette méthode peut être utilisée même si votre marque n‘est pas du tout listée.

Exemple: utilisez la "méthode de recherche" pour trouver le code de votre téléviseur:

1. Mettez en marche votre téléviseur (pas en veille).

2. Appuyez sur la touche TV de votre MF-355RF.

3. Appuyez et maintenez pressée la touche

SETUP jusqu'à ce que la LED rouge (en dessous

d’une touche d’appareil) clignote deux fois (elle s'allume une fois puis clignote deux fois).

4. Appuyez ensuite sur 9 9 1. La lampe témoin

clignote deux fois.

5. Ensuite, appuyez sur VEILLE.

6. Pointez votre MF-355RF vers votre téléviseur.

Maintenant, appuyez sur

CH+ plusieurs fois

jusqu’à ce que le téléviseur s’éteigne (chaque fois que vous appuyez sur CH+ la MF-355RF passe en revue chacun des codes inclus dans la mémoire et à chaque fois que vous appuyez sur CH+ le signal de VEILLE d'un code est emis). Peut-être devrez-

vous appuyer sur cette touche de très nombreuses fois (jusqu’à 150), aussi soyez patient!

Si vous pensez avoir omis un code, retournez au précédent en appuyant sur la touche CH-. N’oubliez pas de garder le MF-355RF pointé vers votre téléviseur pendant cette étape.

7. Lorsque votre téléviseur s’éteint, appuyez sur

SETUP afin de mémoriser le code.

- Beaucoup de téléviseurs ne se rallumeront pas en ré-appuyant

sur la touche VEILLE, alors essayez une « touche numérique » ou la « touché Texte/Arrêt ».

- Si vous ne parvenez pas à commander votre téléviseur

correctement, veuillez continuer la « Méthode de Recherche » car peut-être utilisez vous le mauvais code.

- Pour obtenir les codes de vos autres appareils, suivez les mêmes

instructions que mentionnées plus haut, mais en appuyant sur la touche d’appareil appropriée lors de l’étape 2.

- Si votre télécommande d’origine de votre magnétoscope ou DVD

n’a pas de touche VEILLE, appuyez sur LECTURE à l’étape 5.

Identification du code

Remarque: Pour lire les codes de vos autres appareils, vous devez

suivre les mêmes étapes que précédemment, seulement appuyez sur la touche de l’appareil désiré lors de l’étape 1.

Même si vous avez utilisé la méthode de recherche, il est utile de lire le code de votre appareil. Exemple: Pour lire le code de votre téléviseur, procédez comme suit:

Appuyez sur la touche TV de votre MF-355RF.

2. Appuyez et maintenez pressée la touche

SETUP jusqu'à

ce que la LED rouge (en dessous d’une touche d’appareil) clignote deux fois (elle s'allume une fois puis clignote deux fois).

3. Appuyez sur 9 9 0. LED rouge va clignoter deux

fois.

4. Pour obtenir le premier chiffre de votre code à quatre chiffres, appuyez sur 1 et comptez le nombre de clignotements rouges. S’il n’y a pas de clignotement, le chiffre est “0”.

5. Pour obtenir le deuxième chiffre, appuyez sur 2 et comptez le nombre de clignotements rouges.

6. Pour obtenir le troisième chiffre, appuyez sur 3 et comptez le nombre de clignotements rouges.

7. Pour le quatrième chiffre appuyez sur 4 et comptez le nombre de clignotements.

Technologie d’apprentissage

Votre MF-355RF possède une fonction particulière d’apprentissage, qui vous permet de copier et de transférer toute fonction de votre télécommande d’origine sur le clavier de MF-355RF.

• Assurez-vous que votre télécommande d’origine fonctionne parfaitement.

• MF-355RF et la télécommande d’origine ne doivent en aucun cas être pointées vers l’appareil.

• Le MF-355RF peut apprendre approximativement 30 fonctions.

• Il est conseillé de pratiquer cette technique d’apprentissage à l’abri du soleil ou de toute source incandescente.

Exemple: Pour copier la fonction “mono/stéréo” de votre télécommande d’origine sur la « touche A » de la MF-355RF:

1. Placez les deux télécommandes (la MF-355RF et la

télécommande d’origine) sur une surface plate et assurez-vous que les parties de ces télécommandes que vous pointez en général vers votre équipement audiovisuel soient face à face. Gardez une distance de 2 à 5 cm entre les deux télécommandes.

2. Appuyez sur la touche SETUP

jusqu’à ce que la touche

d’appareil clignote deux fois (d’abord une fois, puis deux fois).

3. Composez le 9 7 5 et la touche d’appareil va clignoter deux

fois.

4. Appuyez sur la touche de l’appareil (sur votre ONE FOR

ALL) pour lequel vous désirez copier une fonction complémentaire (Exemple: la touche TV).

5. Appuyez sur la touche (de la MF-355RF)

sur laquelle vous

voulez obtenir la copie de la fonction originale (Exemple: la

touche A).

La touche d’appareil clignotera très rapidement.

6. Appuyez et maintenez la touche (de la télécommande

d’origine) que vous désirez copier jusqu’à ce que la touche d’appareil de la MF-355RF clignote deux fois. (Exemple: la touche “mono/stéréo”).

Si vous voulez copier d’autres fonctions (de la même télécommande d’origine), répétez tout simplement les étapes 5 et 6 en appuyant sur les touches suivantes que vous voulez copier.

8. Pour sortir du mode ‘Learning’ (ou apprentissage), appuyez

et maintenez la touche SETUP jusqu’à ce que la touche

d’appareil clignote quatre fois.

9. Cette Technique d’apprentissage est toujours rattachée à un

mode spécifique. Pour accéder à une fonction qui a été copiée, il faut donc toujours appuyer sur la touche d’appareil appropriée en premier.

Changer les touches d’appareil

Si vous le désirez, vous pouvez changer n‘importe quelle touche, de façon à ce que cette touche commande un autre appareil.

Exemple 1:

Pour programmer un Téléviseur sur la touche AUX 2, il faut changer la touche AUX 2 en une touche TV. Pour ça, appuyez sur:

La touche AUX 2 est devenue maintenant une deuxième touche TV.

Macros

Vous pouvez programmer votre MF-355RF de façon à ce qu’elle réalise une séquence de commandes en appuyant sur une seule touche. Vous pourriez vouloir, par exemple, éteindre votre TV, VCR et Satellite en même temps. Une Macro ne devrait être programmée que sur une des touches programmables.

Exemple: Pour installer la Macro mentionnée ci-dessus sur la touche A de votre MF-355RF:

1. Appuyez sur la touche SETUP et maintenez-la appuyée

jusqu’à ce qu’une touche d’appareil s’allume deux fois (la touche d’appareil s’allumera une fois puis deux fois).

2. Appuyez sur 9 9 5.

3. Puis appuyez sur la touche A, touche d’affectation de la

Macro.

4. Appuyez ensuite sur TV, POWER, VCR, POWER, SAT, POWER.

5. Afin de mémoriser la Macro appuyez sur la touche SETUP et maintenez-la appuyée jusqu’à ce qu’une touche

d’appareil s’allume deux fois (la touche d’appareil s’allumera une fois puis deux fois).

Res: Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche A, la MF-355RF éteindra votre TV, VCR et Satellite.

- Chaque Macro peut consister en un maximum de 15 commandes.

- Assurez-vous que vous programmiez la Macro sur une touche

que vous n’utilisez dans aucun mode.

- Une fois la Macro programmée sur une touche spécifique, la

séquence fonctionnera peu importe le mode dans lequel vous vous trouvez.

- Si vous deviez presser une touche pendant quelques secondes sur

la télécommande d’origine afin d’obtenir une fonction, celle-ci peut ne pas fonctionner dans la Macro de votre télécommande MF-355RF.

- A) Essayez tous les codes listés pour votre marque.
