Frictional noise is produced when the CD lid is c losed REF.No. :G A0 041 E0−− −

Please take the following countermeasure when there is a complaint that "frictional noise is produced when the lid CD is closed".

Replace the HLDR CHUCK ASSY according to the following procedure:

1. Remove the chuck part from the CD lid. (Remove from the rear side as shown in Fig 1.)−

2. Release the hooks at three locations, and then remove the HLDR CHUCK. (See Fig 2 and 3)−

3. Mount the new HLDR CHUCK ASSY (replacement part). Make sure that the hooks at all three locations are engaged.

4. Mount the chuck part to the CD lid.
