construction, consisting of an inner and outer layer of aluminum skin. This aluminum
is stretched and riveted to the frame, working as an integral part of the structure.
Semi-Monocoque. It’s a term that describes the double layers of aluminum that give
the Airstream its unique silhouette. Airplanes use the same construction for optimal
aerodynamics and light weight. Every Airstream is hand-built with extreme attention
to detail. Every one, a work of art. Every one, a feat of engineering. In our decades of
