PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLATION
1. Clean vehicle bonnet.
2. Open the bonnet and place the Bonnet Guard over the front edge of the bonnet.
3. Note the 2 pre-drilled holes in the Bonnet Guard that correspond with the holes in the
underside of the bonnet.
4. Remove the Bonnet Guard and insert the 2 white plastic “grommets” into the bonnet
holes.
5. Place Bonnet Guard on the bonnet and fasten Bonnet Guard to bonnet with the supplied
screws and washers.
Some vehicles will have a “rubber weatherstrip” attached to the underside of
bonnet. If so, insert the bonnet guard between the bonnet and the weatherstrip
6. Apply the anti-abrasive tape on edge of hood where plastic fastening clip secures the
Bonnet Guard near the fenders. Use the supplied alcohol prep-pads to cleanse the area
first
7. Snap the plastic clips into the hole positions on Bonnet Guard (as shown below),and push
them over the anti-abrasive tape on to the bonnet.
The Bonnet Guard should not come into contact with the hood paintwork at any time.
Bonnet adjustment:
After fitment of Bonnet Guard, it is important to check if there is sufficient room between the bonnet and the
grille.
Close bonnet slowly to determine if room is sufficient. If doubtful, it is advisable to adjust the bonnet stops
to allow more room.
CLOSE THE HOOD BY DROPPING FROM 6" HEIGHT.
ASSIST CLOSURE ONLY BY PRESSING ON THE BONNET.
NEVER PRESS ON THE BONNET GUARD.

PRODUCT WITH YOUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
Wash acrylic with a mild soap and luke warm water solution, using a clean soft cloth or sponge.
