Use of this product and participation in the sport involves inherent risks of injury or death. To
reduce risks:
• MAXIMUM SPEED: 10 MPH (16 KM/H). Use extra caution with beginner skiers.
• Use correct size trainers and bindings. Wet binding and feet with water only.
• Binding should t snug, not tight.
• Watercraft driver should avoid excessive speed or sharp turns which might cause the trainer to ip over abruptly resulting in serious injury to the rider.
• Do not use in shallow water or near docks, pilings, swimmers, other watercraft, or any other obstacles. Land or dock starts, use in shallow water or near shore increases the risk of injury or
death.
• Use Only on Water with a qualied watercraft driver and observer.
• Always wear a properly tted life jacket (PFD) approved by your country’s agency, USCG Type III, ISO, etc.
• Never attach or tie the rope to the watercraft while pulling children’s trainers. Adult observer should hold the provided handle within the hull of the watercraft.
• Always release the handle and rope as soon as the child falls.
• Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning from engine exhaust may cause injury or death. Do not sit on the watercraft transom or boarding platform while the engine is running. Do not shorten the trainer rope to bring the child closer to the watercraft.
• Always read User’s Manual before use.

PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS & WARNINGS
Watersports can be safe and fun for all levels of enthusiasts. The User’s Manual is presented to enhance your enjoyment of the sport. It is intended to alert you to some of the potentially dangerous conditions that can arise in all watersports.
To reduce your risk of injury or death, follow these guidelines and the Watersports Safety Code. Trainers and Bindings: Ensure compatibility of equipment by consulting your User’s Manual, manufacturer’s recommendations,
installation instructions, and/or consult a trained technician.
• Always inspect skis, ns and bindings for loose screws, wear, cracks, delamination or tearing.
• Always make sure bindings and ns are fastened securely to the skis.
• Do not use worn or damaged equipment. Fitting Your Trainers and Bindings: Binding must not be used by anyone for whom it was not properly tted.
• Wet binding and feet with water only.
• Binding should be snug but not tight.

• Even when properly tted, and performing as designed, ski bindings will not release from the ski. Your feet may or may not come out of the bindings in a fall which can result in injury. This may result in injury to the ankle, knee, leg or other parts of the body.
The risk of injury may be increased if only one foot comes out of the binding.
WATERSPORTS SAFETY CODE
Before you get in the water: Skiing or riding instruction is recommended before use. Instruction will teach general safety guide­lines and proper skiing or riding techniques, which may reduce your risk of injury. For more information on skiing or riding schools, contact your dealer, Association, or local ski club.
• Know the federal, state and local laws that apply to your area.
• If you are not familiar with a waterway, ask someone who is, to tell you about any hidden dangers or things to avoid.
• Whether you plan to be in a watercraft, or skiing/riding behind one it is important you are wearing a properly tted life jacket
(PFD) approved by your country’s agency, USCG Type III, ISO, etc.
• Inspect all equipment prior to each use, check bindings, ns, tube, attachment, tow rope and otation device. Do not use if dam-
aged.
Watercraft Safety: A knowledgeable and responsible driver is the most important safety device on any watercraft.
• Never operate a watercraft, ski or ride under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.
• Only use water ballast and people for additional weight.
• Never exceed the passenger or weight limitations of the watercraft.
• Never allow passengers to hang outside the watercraft or towed device or sit on the gunwales or anywhere outside of the normal
seating area.
• Never allow water to overow the bow or gunwales of the watercraft.
• Uneven weight distribution or additional weight may affect the handling of the watercraft.
Carbon Monoxide: The exhaust from the engine on a watercraft contains Carbon Monoxide (CO) which is a colorless, odorless and poisonous gas. Excessive exposure to CO can cause severe injury or death. Follow this advice to avoid injury.
• Never “Platform Drag” by holding onto the boarding platform or be dragged directly behind the watercraft. This is where CO will
be.
• Do not sit on the watercraft transom or boarding platform while the engine is running.
• Make sure the engine is properly tuned and running well. An improperly tuned engine produces excessive exhaust and CO.
• If you smell engine exhaust do not stay in that position.
• Go to the United States Coast Guard’s website: www.uscgboating.org for more information on how to help protect yourself and
others from the dangers of CO.
Tow Ropes: Tow ropes come in different lengths and strengths for different activities. Make sure any rope you are using is suited for skiing or riding and that it is in good condition.
• Never use a rope that is frayed, knotted, unraveling or discolored from use or being left in the sun. If a rope breaks while in use
it can recoil at the skier/rider being towed or into the watercraft where it might strike passengers. Replace tow ropes with any
sign of damage.
• Never use a tow rope with elastic or bungee material to pull skiers or riders.
• Rope should be attached to the watercraft in an approved fashion with hardware designed for towing. Refer to your watercraft
manual for instructions on proper tow rope attachment.
• Always keep people and tow ropes away from the propeller, even when idling.
• If a tow rope should become entangled in a propeller, shut off engine, remove the key and put it in your pocket before retrieving
the rope.
• Tow ropes should be neatly stowed in the boat when not in use.
Preparing to ski or ride: Always have a person other than the driver as an observer to look out for the skier/rider.

• Be sure the driver is aware of the experience and ability level of the skier/rider.
• The driver, observer and skier/ rider need to agree on hand signals before skiing or riding. Signals should include READY, STOP, SPEED UP, and SLOW DOWN.
• Start the engine only after making sure that no one in the water is near the propeller.
• Turn the engine off when people are getting into or out of the watercraft, or in the water near the watercraft.
• Always make sure the tow rope is not wrapped around anyone’s hands, arms, legs, or other parts of the body.
• Start the watercraft and move slowly to remove slack until the tow rope is tight.
• When the skier/rider signals READY and there is no trafc ahead, take off in a straight line. Adjust the speed according to the signals given by the skier/rider.
Skiing or Riding: The watercraft and skier/rider should always maintain a sufcient distance from obstacles so a skier/rider falling or
coasting and/or watercraft will not encounter any obstacle.
• Do not use in shallow water or near shore, docks, pilings, swimmers, other watercraft, or any other obstacles.
• Use only on water.
• Never attempt land or dock starts. This will increase your risk of injury or death.
• Always wear a properly tted life jacket (PFD) approved by your country’s agency, USCG Type III, ISO, etc.
• The faster you ski or ride, the greater your risk of injury.
• Never make sharp turns that may cause a slingshot effect on the skier/rider’s speed.
• Skier/Rider should be towed at an appropriate speed for their ability level.
Fallen skier or rider: Falling and injuries are common in skiing or riding.
• Circle a fallen skier/rider slowly to return the tow rope handle or pick up the fallen skier/rider.
• Put the watercraft in neutral when near a fallen skier/rider.
• Always keep the fallen skier/rider in view and on the driver’s side of the watercraft.
• Display a red or orange skier-down ag to alert other vessels that a skier/rider is down.
The warnings and practices set forth above in the watersports safety code represent some common risks encountered by users. The code does not purport to cover all instances of risk or danger. Please use common sense and good judgment.

INFLATION
Proper ination is the key to fully enjoying this product. The cover should be taut with few wrinkles. You should barely sink it when standing on the tube. Use an AIRHEAD Air Pump for best results. Use caution and do not over-inate above 1.4 psi if using compressed air or the AIRHEAD AHP-120HP High Pressure Air Pump. Use an AIRHEAD Pressure Release Valve with the pump to ensure no chance of over ination.
Your inatable is equipped with the following type of valve:
Speed Safety Valve
Secure the valve by rmly fastening the bottom portion of the valve into the base. Inating: Open cap or top portion of the valve. Insert hose from your inator into the top opening. Deate: Pull out cap and bottom portion of the valve.
Monitoring & Maintaining Proper Ination:
To prevent serious damage to seams and I-beams, remove some air or move to a shaded area when exposure to direct sunlight heats up the tube and causes the air inside to expand. Add some air if exposure to cool air or water lowers the air pressure inside.
MAINTENANCE:
Very little care is required for the bladder or cover.
• You may clean your towable using soap and water or mild detergent.
• Never use strong cleaning agents.
• This item, when clean and dry, can be deated and stored in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight.
• Avoid storing this product in areas of extreme temperatures and please take precautions against animals and rodents.
• Bright colored fabric covers used on the towable may bleed or fade when initially wet. Protect all boat interiors and all other
surfaces from possible staining.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Product won’t hold air: Make sure that the valve is installed properly by removing and re-installing. If you suspect that the product was not inated fully, add some air. Valve is leaking: Make sure that the valve was installed correctly. Red valve cap must be tightly t so its ush with the valve
opening.
Bladder does not get rm and/or Nylon Cover is loose: Your air pump probably doesn’t produce enough pressure to completely ll the bladder. Top off your inatable with a Double Action Hand Pump or Foot Pump.

BEGINNER INSTRUCTIONS
BIG EZ-SKI is not intended for riders over 120 lbs. (54 kg) The BIG EZ SKI is not a flotation device. Riders should
wear a properly fitted Coast Guard approved flotation vest.
PRIOR TO USE: Adjust the skier’s rope length to fit rider’s height. Rider should be standing up with knees bent, lean-
ing back slightly with arms straight.
OBSERVER: Observer in the boat holds the other ski handle attached to the longer rope section. Observer must release handle if skier falls. Observer should be an ADULT and position themselves in the boat allowing them to hold the tow rope in a secure position. DO NOT TIE ROPE TO BOAT!
DRIVER: Boat Driver should pull slack out of the line before gently accelerating to pull up rider. Rider must hold on tight during start up. DO NOT YANK ROPE DURING STARTS! DO NOT MAKE SHARP TURNS!
RIDER: Rider should start in a sitting position with feet in the bindings while holding ski handle attached to the BIG EZ SKI. Rider should stay seated at first and then slowly stand up when they feel comfortable during the ride. Rider must hold on tight and lean back, keeping legs and body position straight. Advise rider to sit back down if they are tired or having trouble keeping their balance. Once the rider is comfortable standing on the BIG EZ SKI, they can practice
simple steering from right to left by shifting their body weight in the direction they want to go.
SPEED: Recommended speed ranges from 5mph (8 km/h) with Maximum of 10mph (16 km/h). Rider speeds vary depending on weight, ability and water conditions. Riders should be aware of hand signals to be able to communicate with driver on speeding up or slowing down or to cut/stop. The most common water ski hand signals are as follows:

That all Kwik Tek inatables are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from original purchase date. Any implied warranties are also limited in duration to the 90 day period from the original purchase date. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face hereof. A return authorization number (RA#) must be obtained prior to return by calling or writing to the telephone or address listed in this manual. Merchandise must be returned, postage prepaid along with proof of purchase to the address below with the RA# in bold on the outside of the package.
This warranty does NOT cover: failure caused by over ination, tears, cuts, punctures or snags obtained during normal use; items involved in accidents, items for rental or hire and other uses not considered normal recreational uses or improper storage. Fading from exposure to sunlight is also not covered by this warranty.
There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on this card. Kwik Tek inc. shall not be held responsible in any way for any incidental and/or consequential damages. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties. This warranty gives you specic legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

• Même lorsqu’elles sont correctement xées et qu’elles fonctionnent comme prévu, il arrive que les xations ne se détachent pas du ski. Les pieds peuvent sortir ou non des xations en cas de chute, ce qui peut causer des blessures.
• Le conducteur du véhicule nautique devrait éviter de rouler à des vitesses excessives ou de faire des virages serrés qui pourraient causer le produit de se retourner brusquement, augmen­tant le danger que l’utllisateur subisse de graves blessures.
• N’utillsez pas le produit dans l’eau peu profonde ou dans Ia proximité de Ia rive, du quai, des obstacles, des nageurs ou de tout autre véhicule nautique. Commencer à partir de Ia rive ou du quai peut augmenter les dangers de graves blessures et de mort.
• Utilisez uniquement sur l’eau, avec un conducteur de bateau qualié et un observateur.
• Portez toujours un gilet de sauvetage bien ajusté, homologué par l’organisme de votre pays, USCG Type III, ISO, etc.
• N’attachez jamais la corde à l’embarcation lorsque vous tirez des skis d’entraînement pour enfant. Un observateur adulte doit maintenir la poignée fournie à l’intérieur de la coque de l’embarcation.
• Lâchez toujours la poignée et la corde dès que l’enfant tombe .
• L’empoisonnement au monoxyde de carbone (CO) dégagé par les gaz d’échappement du moteur peut entraîner des blessures ou la mort. Ne vous asseyez pas sur le tableau arrière de l’embarcation ou sur la plate-forme d’embarquement pendant que le moteur tourne. Ne raccour­cissez pas la corde d’entraînement pour amener l’enfant plus près du bateau.
