Thank you for purchasing the Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer. Please read the instruction
manual carefully before proceeding with the installation. Contact AIRAID @ (800) 498-6951 8:00 AM 5:00 PM MST Weekdays for questions regarding fit or instructions that are not clear to you. Your
Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer was carefully inspected and packaged. Check that no parts are missing, or were damaged during shipping. If any parts are missing, please contact AIRAID.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable!
A). Loosen the hose clamp that holds the factory
intake tube to the air cleaner lid. B). Loosen the
two bolts that hold the lid of the air cleaner to the
base. C). Disconnect the wiring harness from the
mass air sensor.
2. Carefully remove the lid, turn it over, and pinch
the two tabs together to remove the plastic wiring
harness holder from the lid (If equipped). Now remove the lid from the vehicle and set it aside, it will
be reinstalled later.
3. Reach down behind the engine with your pliers,
and squeeze this clamp, and remove the intake tube
from the throttle body.
4. Using a 12mm socket, remove four bolts that
hold the throttle body to the intake manifold.

5. With the gasket (#4) on top of the Poweraid
Spacer (#1), lift the throttle body up, and slide the
spacer between the manifold, and the throttle body.
Install four 8mm bolts (#2) and washers (#3) thru
the throttle body, gasket, spacer, and into the manifold.
7. Reinstall the intake tube and air cleaner lid. Reconnect the mass air sensor wiring harness, and
reinstall the harness holder into the air cleaner lid.
Double check your work. Make sure all clamps,
bolts, and connectors are tight.
6. Reseat the throttle body and spacer onto the
manifold, and tighten the four bolts evenly to the
manufacture’s specifications. Do Not Over Tight en
The Bolts.
8. Inspect & test the throttle linkage for full open
and closed travel before driving.
9. Re-connect the negative battery cable!
Included with your Poweraid Spacer is a sticker with a California Air Resources Board
(C.A.R.B.) Executive Order (EO) number. This sticker must be placed in plain view inside of
the engine compartment. Failure to do so may prevent you from passing a smog inspection.
