Silicone Coupler
Hose Clamp
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable! Using a 7/16” deep socket or wrench, loosen the hose clamp that secures the silicone coupler to the aluminum intercooler tube. Slide the hose clamp down the aluminum tube for safe keeping. Pull the intercooler tube up and out of the silicone coupler to install the Poweraid Spacer.

2. Install the larger diameter end of the Poweraid Spacer into the aluminum intercooler tube as shown. Next reinstall the coupler over the spacer, and onto the intercooler tube in the factory position. Slide the hose clamp back up the tube and reposition it in the original position over the coupler and tighten to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Reconnect the negative battery cable!
Included with your Poweraid Spacer is a sticker with a California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) Executive Order (EO) number. This sticker must be placed in plain view inside of the engine compartment. Failure to do so may prevent you from passing a smog inspection.
