Thank you for purchasing the PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer. Please read the
instruction manual carefully before proceeding with the installation. Contact AIRAID @

inspected and packaged. Check that no parts are missing, or were damaged during
shipping. If any parts are missing, please contact AIRAID.

Installation Instructions. Read Me!

1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL ON BATTERY.

2. Using 10mm socket, remove bolt and intake cover from intake manifold. Save bolt for reuse.

3. Using 8mm socket, loosen hose clamps on intake hose assembly. Remove intake hose assembly.

4. Using 8mm socket, remove bolt and throttle cable cover. Unclip throttle & cruise cables from throttle body.

5. Using 10mm socket, remove two bolts mounting throttle body to intake manifold.

6. Using 10mm socket, remove two bolts mounting throttle body to side bracket. * Note: Save bolts for later use.

7. Remove throttle body from intake manifold.

8. Using 15mm wrench, remove nut and bolt that mounts throttle body bracket to engine block.

9. Clean sealing surface of throttle body and intake manifold being careful not to damage factory o-ring seal.

10. Using supplied bolts, spacers, and washers install new throttle body bracket to engine block. (Ref. “B, C, D”)

11. *Optional: Included in the hardware pack is (1) 3/16” vacuum line fitting; this may be used for a vacuum
gauge. If PowerPorts are utilized, install necessary fittings before installing spacer on vehicle. Other 1/16”
NPT fittings may be installed such as power adders.

12. Install power plate by placing the part number facing the throttle body with one supplied gasket on top of the
power plate. * Note: Gasket must be placed in correct orientation to line up with factory bolt holes and air

passages. (Ref. “A”)

13. Install the (2) supplied bolts and washers in the throttle body; tighten evenly. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

14. Install (2) original bolts through new throttle body bracket to throttle body.

15. Reinstall air intake tube, cover, and negative battery cable.

16. Inspect & Test throttle linkage for full Open & Closed travel before driving. Cables may require adjustment.
Please refer to vehicles service manual for proper adjustment.
