1. GENERAL INFORMATION
2. This operating and service manual contains information pertaining to incoming inspection,
operation, performance tests, adjustments, and service for the HP Model 11683A Range Calibrator.
3. Equipment recommended for use in perform­ance testsl adjustments, and service to the 11683A is listed in Table 2. Test equipment which meets or exceeds the critical specifications of Table 2 must be used for calibration if the I1683A is expected
to conform to the published specifications.
4. The 116t13A and all supplied accessories are shown in Figure 1. The published specifications are listed in Table 1.

6. This i&rum& has a two-part serial
number.
The first four digits and the letter comprise the serial number prefix. The last five digits form the
sequential suffix that is unique to each instrument.
The contents of this manual apply dtiectly to instruments having the same serial number pre­fix(es) as listed under SERIAL NUMBERS on the
title page.
