I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
No. 3399 - 02/12
Description: A high delivery, fast-drying, industrial
strength solvent for cleaning and degreasing. Removes grease, oil, wax, adhesives and other contaminants without leaving a residue. High-pressure spray action combined with unique wetting action, penetrates and degreases in inaccessible cracks and crevices. #398 uses an any-way trigger sprayer for application in any direction, including upside down.
Benets: Aervoe #398 and #399 reduce failures and helps to increase equipment life by eliminating faulty operation of dirty moving parts. Non-corrosive, non-conductive formula that displaces moisture. High dielectric strength of 33 kV. Contains no chlorinated solvents. Although
ammable, they are safe to use in non-heat electrical
exposure. Does not require water wash-off. With the #398 application in any direction is possible, including upside down and horizontal positions.
Uses: Use on motors, tools, machinery, metal parts, mechanical equipment, air conditioners, aircraft parts, automotive parts, bearings, cycle chains, packaging
machinery, compressors, generators, portable tools, ofce
machinery, pumps, mechanical brakes and clutches, relays, sporting equipment and solenoids.
Application: Aerosol: Spray on and let dry. Do not rinse off. Attach extension tube for pinpoint accuracy with minimum over spray. Test a small area to assure compatibility on painted surfaces, specialty rubber, plastics, and laminates. Not for use on polycarbonate plastics or sensitive electronic equipment. For best
ushing action, spray from a distance of 4 to 6 inches.
Allow to air dry, or dry with a clean dry cloth. Trigger Spray Can: Remove cap and attach trigger sprayer.
Tighten securely on threaded tment. Spray nozzle can
be adjusted for stream or mist application and may be sprayed in any direction. Bulk: Apply with clean sprayer, cloth, or by dipping. Do not use on electrical equipment or machinery while in operation. Wait 5-10 minutes to allow solvents to evaporate before energizing equipment.
Limitations: Please refer to the Material Safety Data
Sheet for specic information on material hazards, etc. At temperatures below 40°F (4°C). Aerosol pressure is
diminished. Check surface compatibility by testing small
area rst; product may affect certain rubber, plastic and
in manufacturing facilities.
