OPERATION
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before operating• Do not immerse cord or plug in water or other liquids• Do not microwave or clean in a dishwasher• Do not use any accessory attachments with this product• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter• Do not touch hot surfaces• Do not clean with metal scouring pads• Do not use while vehicle is moving• Always unplug when the liquid level falls below the 1 cup line.• Unplug when not in use and before cleaning• Allow unit to cool before storing• Keep cord away from hot surfaces• Administer close supervision when using around children• Unit and contents can become very hot and steam may be created. Take • precautions to prevent accidental spills when moving. This unit will not shut off automatically. Turn off immediately after use.•
Warning: This product is designed to get very hot very quickly and reach a boiling temperature. It will remain hot for a significant period after it has been unplugged. Athena Brands is not responsible for any damage caused by use or misuse of this product either intentional or accidental.

Mounting Bracket Installation
To use the mounting bracket to attach the Hot Drinks To Go to your vehicle’s door frame, slide the long section of the mounting bracket into the window well. Bend the bracket downward to a vertical position so the grooves on the bracket allow you to slide the clip on the Hot Drinks To Go into them.
Heating
Fill Hot Drinks To Go with desired liquid. Warning: Liquid must be above the 1 cup line. Plug the cord ingot he D receptacle to turn on the unit. The interior viewing light will turn on. Water takes 10 minutes to warm and 30 minutes to boil. Unplug once the contents come to a boil.
Operation in Vehicles

CLEANING

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the 12-volt circuit fails to operate, try the following suggestions:
Unplug from the power supply an make sure that the receptacle is clean. DO NOT 1. USE METAL TOOLS. If cleaning is needed, use only insulators, such as wood. Check the plug’s fuse. Carefully unscrew the plug’s top section. Remove and 2. check the fuse with the proper electronic meter. If defective, replace with correct fuse (see specification for type). Also check the vehicle’s fuse panel. Some cigarette lighters have a separate circuit breaker located directly behind the 3. cigarette lighter receptacle. If you lighter is not working, this circuit breaker may have blown and could require replacement. Consult your vehicle owner’s manual for replacement.
