DK-9680/DK-9880isthecombinationofaccesscontrolkeypad,dooralarmanddoorchimeinonesystem.Itis
anidealsystemforofficeandhomesecurityinstallations.
Thesystemisadopting"SplitDecoded"designphilosophytogivehighestsecurity.EachDK-9680/DK-9880issplit
intotwoparts,theremotekeypadunitandthemasterdecoderunit,theycommunicatewitheachotherindigital
data.Anyonewhotriestocutorshorttheconnectionwiresattheremotekeypadcannotcompromisethesecurityof
thesystemorbypassthekeypadfunction.TheDK-9680/DK-9880usescurrentmodedatabu scommunication,one
masterunitcanaccommodateupto3remotekeypadunitsconnectedinparallelfortotallyindependentoperation.
DK-9680/DK-9880employs3UserCodes(code1,code2,andcode3)andoneSuperUserCodeforoperatingof
the3outputswhicharedesignedfordoorstrikeandothersecurityandaccesscontrolapplications.Withits
EEPROMmemory,thesystem'sprogrammeddataisnonvolatileincaseofpowerfailure.Over100million
combinationsarepossibleforthe3UserCodes,theMasterCode(italsoactsastheSuperUserCode)andthe
DuressCode.Othersecurityfeatures includeduressoutputanddoorsensingfordoorforcedopenalarm,dooropenÂtoo-longalarmanddoorautore-lockfunctions.Facilityforconnectinganegressbuttonforeasyexitisalso
incorporated.Theplasticcaseoftheweatherproofkeypadunit(DK-9680)ispreciselyengineered,inwhich,thefro nt
panelandthemountingboxissealedwithawaterresistantgasketmakingthekeypadunitsuitableforbothin-door
andout-doorinstallations;whiletheslimkeypadunit(DK-9880)isdesignedinthefashionthatblendssmoothlyint o
anyresidentialandofficedecors.
